How long does a typical graffiti birthday party last?

Our standard graffiti birthday parties in Rivera usually run for about 1.5 to 2 hours. This gives the children enough time to learn the basic spray painting techniques, practice their 'tags' on a practice wall or cardboard, and then complete their final masterpiece on a professional canvas. We find this timing is the 'sweet spot' for keeping energy levels high and creativity flowing without anyone getting tired.🎨

Is it safe for children to use spray paint?

Safety is our absolute number one priority. We provide high-quality masks, gloves, and protective suits for every child to keep clothes clean and lungs safe. Our professional artists are trained to supervise kids closely, ensuring they use the spray cans properly and stay in the designated painting zones. We use low-odour, high-quality paints that are professional-grade yet manageable for younger hands under our expert guidance.🛡️

What should the children wear to the workshop?

While we provide protective overalls and gloves, we always recommend that the kids wear 'play clothes' and old trainers that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on. Graffiti can be a messy business, and while the suits cover most things, a stray drop of paint on a brand-new pair of white shoes is always a possibility! Comfort is key for moving around their canvas.👟

Do the kids get to keep their artwork?

Absolutely! One of the best things about a Graffitifun party is that every child gets to take their own 100% unique canvas home. It’s the ultimate party bag gift! They’ll have a permanent piece of street art they created themselves to hang on their bedroom wall. We also provide bags or covers for the damp canvases so your car stays clean on the way home.🏠

Where in Rivera do the workshops take place?

We are incredibly flexible and can host parties at various locations across Rivera. If you have a large garden or a private outdoor space, we can come to you! Alternatively, we can help find a suitable local spot or community space. Because we use spray paint, an outdoor or very well-ventilated semi-outdoor area is required to keep everyone comfortable and safe while they work.🌳Base

What is the minimum age for a graffiti party?🎉

We recommend our graffiti parties for children aged 8 and up. At this age, kids generally have the hand strength to press the spray nozzles and the focus to follow the artist's instructions. However, we can adapt our sessions for slightly younger groups with extra help, or make them more technical and 'street-style' for teenagers who want a more authentic urban art experience.🤘

What happens if it rains on the day of the party?

Don't worry about the weather! We always monitor the forecast for Rivera closely. If rain is expected, we can often move the workshop under a large canopy, use a well-ventilated indoor space, or reschedule to a better time. We also have backup artists available, so we never have to cancel your party due to staff sickness. Your celebration is our priority!🌦️

Local culture

Rivera is a city with a truly unique pulse, sitting right on the border where Uruguayan and Brazilian cultures blend together. This "International Frontier" vibe makes it a fantastic place for street art, where different styles and languages merge. We love bringing our graffiti workshops to Rivera because the kids here already understand that art has no borders! 🎨

From the bustling streets near Plaza Internacional to the quieter residential neighbourhoods, there’s an energy here that perfectly suits the rebellious and colourful nature of graffiti. Whether we’re setting up in a local park or your own backyard, we bring that urban "Couture" flair to your front door.

Fun Fact: Did you know Rivera and its Brazilian neighbour, Santana do Livramento, are so close you can stand with one foot in each country? It’s one of the few places in the world where two cities are united by a single park! 🇺🇾🇧🇷
