Do I need any previous art experience to join the workshop?

Absolutely! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from those who can't draw a stick figure to seasoned creatives. Our professional artists walk you through the basics of can control, nozzle types, and layering. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the masterpiece you've created. It’s all about having fun and expressing yourself in the high-energy environment of a Rivera music festival.

Is the workshop safe, and will I get paint on my clothes?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep your festival outfit clean. We use professional-grade spray paint and conduct all sessions in well-ventilated outdoor areas. Our instructors are also trained to ensure everyone uses the equipment correctly, making it a safe, worry-free experience for festival-goers of all ages.

How long does the graffiti workshop last?

A standard festival workshop session usually lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. This gives us enough time to cover the history of graffiti, practice basic techniques, and complete a final collaborative or individual piece. However, for large festivals in Rivera, we can adapt the timing to allow for shorter 'drop-in' sessions so more people can get a taste of the street art life.

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We provide everything you need to become a street artist for the day! This includes a wide range of premium spray paint colours, various nozzle types (caps) for different effects, protective gear, and the surfaces we’ll be painting on—whether that’s a large-scale mural wall or individual canvases. You just need to bring your energy and a bit of a creative spark!

What is your payment and cancellation policy for festivals?

We understand that festival plans can change, which is why we don't require upfront payments. You can settle the bill after the workshop once you're 100% satisfied with the experience. We also have a roster of backup artists ready to step in, ensuring that your booking is secure and won't be cancelled last minute. It's all about making your Rivera event stress-free.

Can you customise the workshop to match the festival's theme?

Yes, we love customising our workshops! We can tailor the colour palette, themes, or even include specific stencils that match the music festival's branding or musical genre. Whether you want a hip-hop vibe or an indie-rock aesthetic, we work with organisers in Rivera to ensure the graffiti experience feels like a seamless part of the overall festival atmosphere.

Step by step

Intro and safety briefing: We kick things off with a quick intro to the world of street art and get everyone geared up in protective suits and masks.
Mastering the can: Your artist guide will show you how to hold the spray can, how to control pressure, and the difference between 'fat' and 'skinny' caps.
Lines and dots: Practice the fundamentals! You'll learn how to create clean lines, perfect dots, and smooth fades on a practice surface.
Tagging techniques: Every artist needs a signature. We'll help you develop your own 'tag' and teach you the flow behind classic graffiti lettering.
Concept sketching: Whether it's a collaborative mural or an individual piece, we'll sketch out the design ideas to ensure the final result looks epic.
Filling and fading: Now for the colour! Learn how to fill in large areas efficiently and how to create those iconic 3D gradients and shadows.
The outline: This is where the magic happens. We’ll teach you how to 'cut' your lines to make your artwork pop off the wall.
Final touches and highlights: Add those 'power line' glows and white highlights to give your piece that professional, finished look.
Photo op and cleanup: Strike a pose with your creation! We handle the cleanup so you can get back to dancing to the music.

Local culture

Rivera is a city unlike any other, where Uruguayan and Brazilian cultures blend seamlessly along the 'Frontera de la Paz'. This unique international fusion creates a vibrant backdrop for any music festival. Street art in Rivera is growing fast, reflecting the bilingual 'Portuñol' spirit and the colourful energy of the local community. Imagine spray painting to the sound of cumbia and samba echoing across the Plaza Internacional! 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know that in Rivera, you can stand with one foot in Uruguay and the other in Brazil? Our workshops embrace this 'no borders' philosophy, encouraging a mix of styles and influences that represent the local culture.

We believe every festival is unique, so we don't do 'one size fits all' pricing. Whether you're planning a massive event or an intimate creative corner, we'll work with you to make it happen. 💸
