Do the youngsters need any previous art experience?

Absolutely! Our graffiti workshops in Rivera are designed specifically for beginners. Our professional street artists start with the basics, from how to hold the spray can to mastering nozzle pressure. By the time we start on the main mural, everyone feels like a pro. We provide a safe, supportive environment where youth can experiment and make mistakes without any pressure. It’s all about the creative journey!

Is the workshop safe for teenagers and children?

Safety is our top priority for every youth project. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls, to ensure everyone stays clean and safe. Our spray paints are selected for their quality, and we always work in well-ventilated outdoor or large indoor spaces. Our instructors are experienced in managing groups and ensure that all safety protocols are followed strictly throughout the session.

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

A standard youth project workshop in Rivera typically lasts between 2 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, technique practice, and the creation of a large-scale collaborative mural. If you have a specific schedule or are planning a full-day community event, we can easily adapt the timing to fit your needs perfectly. Just let us know your requirements!

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We bring everything needed for a spectacular street art experience! This includes a wide variety of spray paint colours, protective clothing (gloves, masks, and suits), and the surfaces to paint on, such as large canvasses or mobile walls. We can even help arrange legal wall spaces in Rivera for more permanent community projects. You just need to bring your energy and some old clothes!

How much does a youth graffiti project cost in Rivera?

Pricing for our Rivera youth projects is flexible and depends on the number of participants, the duration of the event, and the amount of materials required. Because every youth group has different needs, we provide bespoke quotes. The best part? There is no upfront payment required—you only pay after the workshop is successfully completed, ensuring 100% satisfaction with our service.

Can the workshop be held at our own community centre?

We can host workshops at various locations across Rivera! Whether it’s a local community centre, a school playground, or a public park, we are mobile and flexible. If you don't have a location in mind, we can suggest great spots that are perfect for spraying. We also have backup artists available to ensure your event goes ahead even if there are unforeseen staff changes.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next youth initiative in Rivera? It's more than just spray painting walls—it's a transformative experience that sticks! 🔥

Absolute Creative Freedom: There are no wrong answers in graffiti; it's the ultimate way for youth to express their identity. 🎤
Team Building: Collaborative murals require communication and cooperation, teaching valuable life skills while having a blast. 🤝
Professional Mentorship: Our artists aren't just tutors; they are mentors who share the history and techniques of an authentic urban art form. 🏆
Physical & Active: It’s a great way to get kids away from screens and doing something tactile and energetic outdoors. 💪
Zero Risk: With our "pay after the workshop" policy, you can book with total peace of mind. ✨

Step by step

Initial brainstorming: We sit down with the group to discuss themes, ideas, and what message they want to convey through their art.
Safety briefing: Everyone gets geared up in protective suits, masks, and gloves while learning the essential safety rules of the workshop.
The basics of spray: Our pros demonstrate "can control"—showing the youth how to create thin lines, thick fills, and smooth fades.
Sketching the vision: Participants practice their designs on paper or small boards to build confidence before hitting the big wall.
Outline and fill: The group works together to outline the main piece on the mural surface and begins the vibrant filling process.
Detailing and highlights: This is where the magic happens! We add shadows, highlights, and sharp outlines to make the artwork pop.
The final tag: Every artist gets to sign their work or add their unique "tag" to the collective masterpiece.
Photo session and cleanup: We celebrate the finished project with a group photo and ensure the area is left tidy and professional.

Good to know

Our Rivera youth workshops are designed to be hassle-free and fully inclusive. Here is what you can expect:

Local culture

Rivera is a city of unique blends, sitting right on the border with Brazil. This international spirit makes it the perfect canvas for street art that speaks across cultures. In a city where "Portuñol" is the local tongue, graffiti serves as a universal language for the youth. We love tapping into the local energy of Rivera, from the bustling shops of Sarandí to the scenic views of Cerro Marco. ✨

Fun Fact: Did you know Rivera is part of the "Frontier of Peace"? It's one of the few places in the world where two countries share a main street without any borders—perfect inspiration for collaborative youth murals that celebrate unity! 🇺🇾🇧🇷
