Do I need any prior art experience to join an outdoor party?

Not at all! Our New York City graffiti workshops are designed for everyone, from total beginners to seasoned creatives. Our professional artists will guide you through every step, starting with basic can control and lettering. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the masterpiece you've created. It's all about having fun and expressing yourself in a supportive, high-energy environment.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We've got you covered! We provide high-quality spray paint in a rainbow of colors, professional-grade masks, gloves, and protective ponchos to keep your clothes clean. We also provide the canvases or designated wall space for your session. Just show up in comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little dusty, and we will handle the rest of the logistics.

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our top priority. We use low-odor spray paint whenever possible and provide high-quality respiratory masks and gloves for all participants. Our instructors are experienced professionals who provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can. We ensure the outdoor site is well-ventilated and spacious enough for your group to create comfortably and safely.

What happens if it rains on the day of our outdoor event?

In the event of light rain, we can often continue under cover or use pop-up tents. If the weather in NYC looks truly uncooperative, we have flexible rescheduling policies or can discuss indoor alternatives. Because we have a large team of backup artists, we are very reliable and will work with you to ensure your outdoor party happens one way or another!

How long does the graffiti workshop last?

A standard outdoor graffiti party typically lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives your group enough time to learn the history of street art, practice basic techniques, sketch out your ideas, and complete a final large-scale piece. If you have specific time constraints for your event, just let us know and we can tailor the program to fit your schedule.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

We can accommodate groups of almost any size! Whether you are hosting an intimate birthday gathering of 10 friends or a massive corporate festival with hundreds of participants, we scale our team of artists accordingly. For larger groups, we bring in additional instructors to ensure everyone gets personalized attention and plenty of time with the spray cans.

Local culture

New York City isn't just a location for us—it's the birthplace of the entire global graffiti movement. From the legendary trains of the 70s to the world-famous murals in Bushwick and the Lower East Side, the spirit of the 5-Boroughs is written in spray paint. When you book an outdoor party with us, you aren't just taking a class; you're stepping into a living history. Our instructors are active members of the local scene who know every "style" from Bronx bubble letters to Manhattan wildstyle.

Fun Fact: Did you know that the term "tagging" is widely credited to a NYC courier named TAKI 183? His simple signature sparked a global cultural revolution right here on the streets of Manhattan! 🗽
