Do we need any previous artistic skills to participate?

Absolutely no prior art experience is needed! Our professional artists guide your team through the basics of spray painting and design. The focus of our Ilorin leadership training is on communication, creative problem-solving, and collaboration. Everyone starts with a blank canvas and leaves with a masterpiece and a new perspective on how to lead within a group dynamic. It’s all about the experience and the lessons learned together.

How long does the graffiti leadership session last?

A standard leadership workshop in Ilorin usually lasts between 2 to 3 hours. This timeframe allows your team to go through the icebreakers, learn the techniques, plan their collaborative mural, and execute the final piece. We can also customize the duration if you have a tight schedule during a corporate retreat or want a more intensive deep-dive into team dynamics through art. Let us know your timeline!

Is the spray paint safe for everyone to use?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide all participants with high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls to protect your clothing. We also use professional-grade spray paint in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specially designed indoor spaces. Our facilitators are trained to ensure a safe environment where everyone can focus on being creative and building leadership skills without any worries about mess or fumes.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

For our Ilorin workshops, we recommend a minimum group size of 10 people to ensure there's enough dynamic for leadership roles to emerge. We can accommodate large corporate groups of up to 100+ participants by bringing in extra graffiti artists and setting up multiple mural stations. The more the merrier! Large groups actually enhance the 'big picture' thinking required during the collaborative phase of the workshop.

Can we keep the artwork we create during the workshop?

The best part about our graffiti workshops is that the art is yours to keep! For leadership training, teams often create a large collaborative mural on a giant canvas or wooden panel. Many Ilorin companies choose to hang these in their office hallways or boardrooms as a permanent reminder of their team's vision and the leadership lessons learned during the session. It’s a great way to brighten up the workspace!

Where in Ilorin does the workshop take place?

We offer total flexibility for our Ilorin clients. We can host the session at one of our partner creative spaces in town, or we can bring the entire 'Graffiti Mobile' setup to your office premises or chosen retreat hotel. As long as there is adequate ventilation and space for the canvases, we can transform almost any location into a professional street art studio for the day.

How does the payment process work?

At Graffitifun, we believe in trust. You don't need to make any upfront payments to secure your booking in Ilorin. You can pay after the workshop is successfully completed and your team is buzzing with creative energy. We accept bank transfers and major cards. Our goal is 100% satisfaction, and we only want you to pay when you are completely happy with the experience.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your leadership development in Ilorin? Because traditional training often forgets that people learn best when they are actually doing something exciting! Our street art approach breaks down barriers and levels the playing field. Here is why it works:

Boosts Creative Problem-Solving: Spray painting requires quick decisions and adapting to "happy accidents" on the canvas. 🧠
Improves Communication: You can't paint a giant mural without talking to your neighbors—it forces clear, concise teamwork.
Visualizes Company Vision: Literally paint your goals! It’s a powerful way to make abstract company values tangible. 🖌️
Stress Relief & Engagement: Getting outside and being messy is a great way to recharge your team's mental batteries.
Expert Artist Mentors: Our Ilorin team consists of top-tier artists who know how to draw out the hidden talent in everyone. 🎤
Zero Risk: With our "no cancellation" guarantee and backup artists, your event is always safe with us.

Step by step

Initial briefing: We kick off by defining your leadership goals. Whether it’s improving communication or boosting morale, we set the stage for a creative breakthrough.
Artist demonstration: Our pro artists show you the ropes, from 'tagging' to 'fading' techniques. You’ll see how a masterpiece is built from the ground up. 🎨
Individual practice: Each participant gets their own canvas to practice basic strokes and find their creative voice. This builds confidence before the team effort.
Collaborative design: The team comes together to brainstorm a central theme or 'vision' for the main mural. This is where leadership skills like negotiation and listening shine.
Layering the mural: We start painting the background and main shapes. Participants must coordinate their movements and styles to ensure a cohesive look. 💪
Detailing and 'Cutting': Leaders emerge as the team focuses on the finer details, ensuring the final piece reflects the collective goal.
The Big Reveal: We step back to admire the finished work. It’s a moment of shared pride and a visual representation of team success.
Debrief and reflection: We wrap up with a discussion on how the lessons learned at the spray wall apply to the office and your leadership journey. 🏆

Local culture

Ilorin is a city where tradition meets modern ambition. From the historic Emir’s Palace to the bustling activity around Post Office, the city is full of color and life. While Ilorin is known for its legendary weaving and pottery, we are bringing a new form of "textile" to the city walls—street art! We love the vibe of the 'State of Harmony,' and our workshops reflect that peaceful yet powerful collective energy found in local community gatherings. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know Ilorin is one of the few places in Nigeria where you can find a perfect blend of diverse cultures living in total harmony? It’s the perfect backdrop for a workshop focused on 'Unity in Leadership'! 🌟
