Do I need to have any artistic experience to join?

Absolutely not! Our Labasa networking events are designed specifically for beginners. Our professional street artists will guide you through every step, from holding the spray can to mastering shading techniques. The creative activity serves as a relaxed icebreaker, allowing you to focus on building connections while discovering a new skill you never knew you had. We provide all the guidance you need to create something amazing.

What should I wear to a graffiti networking session?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes that you don't mind getting a little dusty. While we provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and masks, it is always safer to skip the designer suits for this particular session. Think 'creative casual' – something that allows you to move freely while you are collaborating on your masterpiece and chatting with your new professional contacts!

How is this better than a standard business lunch?

Unlike traditional corporate mixers, our creative networking events in Labasa focus on shared experience. By working on a mural together, the usual 'business talk' barriers come down naturally. It’s much easier to start a conversation while you're both picking out paint colours or laughing over a 'happy accident' on the canvas. It leads to far more genuine and lasting professional relationships.

Is the spray paint dangerous or messy?

Not at all. We take safety very seriously. We use low-odour, high-quality spray paints and provide all necessary safety equipment, including FFP2/FFP3 masks and gloves. If 'The Friendly North' weather isn't on our side, we also have indoor-safe techniques and setups available to ensure the event goes off without a hitch while keeping everyone perfectly safe and healthy.

How long does a typical session last?

Our standard networking sessions usually last between 1.5 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a quick technical introduction, plenty of time for the collaborative art project, and dedicated moments for structured networking and photos. We can easily adjust the timeline to fit your specific schedule – just let us know what works best for your group!

What is the payment process for booking?

We believe in the quality of our events, which is why we don't require upfront payments. You can book your date and confirm the details with us, and payment is only handled after the workshop is complete. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience we've delivered in Labasa before any money changes hands. It's our 'fun guaranteed' promise!

Is there a minimum or maximum group size?

Our events are highly flexible! Whether you are a small startup team of 10 or a large professional association with over 100 members, we can scale the experience to suit. For larger groups, we simply bring in more of our expert artists and set up multiple 'creative stations' to ensure everyone gets a hands-on experience and plenty of chances to mingle.

The experience

Traditional networking can feel like a chore, but adding a splash of paint changes the entire dynamic. Here is why our creative networking event in Labasa is the ultimate choice for your next gathering:

Destroy the awkwardness: It’s impossible to feel stiff when you’re wearing overalls and creating art together. The activity acts as the perfect natural icebreaker! 💪
Memorable brand building: Your participants won't forget the time they spray-painted a mural. It’s a high-impact experience that stays top-of-mind.
Inclusive for everyone: You don't need to be Van Gogh. Our workshops are designed so that every skill level can contribute and feel proud of the result. 🎉
Professional facilitators: We aren't just artists; we're pros at managing groups and ensuring the networking flow remains the priority.
Unique content: The photos and videos from a graffiti session are way more engaging for your social media than the standard 'people at a table' shots. 📸
Zero risk: With our 'pay after' policy and guaranteed backup artists, your event is protected from any hiccups.

Step by step

Initial consultation: Reach out to us with your group size and preferred date in Labasa. We'll discuss your specific networking goals and any themes you want to incorporate.
Custom concept design: Our artists will create a rough sketch or concept that represents your industry or the spirit of 'The Friendly North' to guide the session.
Safe setup: On the day, we arrive early to set up the canvases, protective flooring, and all the spray painting gear you'll need.
The 'Icebreaker' intro: We kick things off with a high-energy demo. You’ll learn the basics of tags, throws, and pieces before picking up a can yourself.
Collaborative creation: This is where the networking happens! Attendees work together in small groups on shared murals, naturally sparking conversations and teamwork.
Expert coaching: Our professional graffiti artists circulate through the crowd, giving tips, helping with technique, and keeping the energy levels high.
Final reveal & photos: We polish the artwork for a professional finish. You'll have a chance to take group photos with your creation—perfect for LinkedIn and company socials!
Pack down & follow-up: We handle the entire cleanup process. You walk away with new contacts and a digital gallery of your team's collective masterpiece.

Local culture

Labasa, famously known as "The Friendly North," is the perfect backdrop for a networking event centered on community and creativity. While it's known for its thriving sugar industry and the legendary Sacred Cobra Rock, we’re here to add a contemporary splash of street art culture to the mix. Our events tap into the laid-back, welcoming vibe of Labasa, ensuring that every participant feels comfortable expressing themselves.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Labasa sits on the banks of three rivers? Just like the merging of these waters, our networking events are designed to merge different industries and personalities into one fluid, creative force! 🌊

By bringing our graffiti workshops to this vibrant town, we aim to inspire local professionals to think outside the box—literally. From the bustling market vibes to the scenic outskirts, we bring the energy of modern street art to one of Fiji’s most iconic locations.
