Do we need any previous artistic skills to participate?

Absolutely not! Our Labasa team development workshops are designed for everyone, from stick-figure doodlers to secret Picassos. Our professional artists guide you through every step, starting with basic lines and shapes. We focus on the process of collaboration and the joy of creation, ensuring everyone feels confident and contributes to the final masterpiece regardless of their prior artistic experience.

Is it safe and what about the mess?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls, to keep your clothes clean and your lungs happy. We use professional-grade spray paint and conduct our sessions in well-ventilated areas. Our artists provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring a worry-free and fun environment for your entire team.

How long does a typical workshop last?

A standard team development session in Labasa usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a warm-up, skill-building exercises, and the creation of a large-scale collaborative mural. If you have a tighter schedule or want an all-day deep dive into team dynamics, we can easily customise the duration to fit your company's needs.

Where in Labasa do the workshops take place?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our flexibility. We can bring the workshop to you! If your office has a suitable outdoor space or a large ventilated garage, we can set up there. Alternatively, we can arrange an inspiring off-site location in Labasa or nearby areas to get your team out of their usual environment and into a creative headspace.

Why is graffiti better than traditional team building?

Graffiti is a fantastic tool for team building because it levels the playing field. It encourages risk-taking, improves communication, and requires collective problem-solving to create a cohesive mural. In the 'Friendly North' atmosphere of Labasa, this creative exercise breaks down corporate silos and builds genuine connections between colleagues in a way a standard meeting never could.

How does the payment process work?

We believe in 'Fun First, Paint Later.' There is no upfront payment required when you book with us. You only pay after the workshop is completed and your team is buzzing with creative energy. We accept various payment methods and will provide a clear invoice once the session is done. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience we deliver.

What should our team bring to the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of dust or paint on, even though we provide overalls. Since Labasa can be quite warm, breathable fabrics are best. Other than that, just bring your enthusiasm and a team-player attitude! We provide all the professional spray cans, caps, boards, and protective equipment.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next team event in Labasa? It’s simple: it works! Here’s why your crew will love it:

Break the Hierarchy: In front of a blank wall, everyone is an amateur. It levels the playing field between managers and staff. 🎤
Boost Communication: You can't paint a giant mural alone; it requires constant chatting and coordination to get the design right.
Safe Risk-Taking: Spraying that first line is scary! We help your team step out of their comfort zones in a supportive, fun environment. 💪
Tangible Results: At the end of the day, you have a physical masterpiece that represents your team’s hard work.
High Energy: Our workshops are fast-paced and upbeat, guaranteed to leave everyone feeling inspired and refreshed. 🎉
Stress Relief: There is something incredibly therapeutic about the hiss of a spray can and the flow of bright colours.

Step by step

Arrival and meet-up: Your team meets our professional graffiti artists at the Labasa location. We start with high-energy introductions and an overview of the day.
Safety and gear-up: We hand out masks, gloves, and overalls. Safety is key, so we'll show you exactly how to use the equipment properly.
The basics of spray art: Learn the 'can control' techniques. Our artists demonstrate how to create thin lines, fat fills, and smooth gradients.
Sketching the vision: Your team collaborates on a concept. We'll help you translate your company values or goals into a visual graffiti masterpiece.
First strokes: Everyone grabs a can and starts applying the base layers under the guidance of our experts. It's time to get messy!
Collaboration phase: This is where the team development happens. Groups work on different sections of the mural, ensuring the pieces fit together perfectly.
The finishing touches: Add highlights, outlines, and 'can-tricks' to make the artwork pop and look like a professional street art piece.
The big reveal: Step back and admire the collective work. We'll take group photos of your team with their creation—perfect for the office wall!
Wrap-up and debrief: We discuss the creative process and how the teamwork displayed applies to your daily office life in Labasa.
