Do we need any previous artistic experience to enjoy the workshop?

Absolutely! Our Tavua team development workshops are designed for everyone, from those who haven't picked up a pen in years to seasoned hobbyists. Our professional artists guide your team through the basics, starting with simple lines and shapes before moving on to more complex techniques. The focus is on collaboration, creativity, and having a blast together, rather than artistic perfection. Most participants are surprised by what they can achieve in just a few hours!

Is the spray paint safe to use for a corporate group?

We take safety very seriously. We provide high-quality protective gear for every participant in Tavua, including professional-grade masks, disposable overalls, and gloves to keep your clothes clean and your lungs protected. Our aerosol paints are used in well-ventilated outdoor areas, and our lead artists provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can. You’re in safe, expert hands throughout the entire creative process.

What happens if we need to change our booking or an artist is unavailable?

We understand that business schedules can be unpredictable. One of Graffitifun's core strengths is our 'No Cancellation' policy—we have a deep roster of backup artists across Fiji to ensure your event goes ahead as planned. Additionally, we don't require upfront payments for local bookings. You only pay after the workshop is complete and your team is buzzing with creative energy!

How long does a typical team development workshop last?

While our standard team development sessions in Tavua typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours, we are completely flexible. If you have a tight schedule during a conference or want to make it the centerpiece of a full-day retreat, we can adapt the timing. The duration usually depends on your specific goals, the group size, and whether you are working on individual canvases or a giant collective mural.

Where in Tavua do the workshops take place?

We can bring the graffiti experience almost anywhere! We often host sessions at local parks, resort grounds, or even at your own office if there is a suitable outdoor space. If you don't have a venue in mind, we can suggest several inspiring locations around Tavua that offer the perfect backdrop for getting creative. We handle all the logistics regarding permits and setup so you can focus on the fun.

Why is graffiti better than traditional team-building activities?

Graffiti is a fantastic tool for team building because it levels the playing field. In a workshop, job titles disappear and everyone becomes a 'writer' (graffiti artist). It encourages communication, shared problem-solving, and a healthy dose of collective risk-taking. Creating a large-scale mural together requires synchronised effort and vision, which translates perfectly back to the workplace. Plus, it's a massive morale booster that your team will talk about for months!

Boosts Communication: Planning a mural requires negotiation, listening, and shared vision—essential skills for any high-performing team. 🎤
Total Stress Relief: There is something incredibly therapeutic and liberating about the "pfft-pfft" of a spray can in the open air. 🔥
Unleashes Creativity: Even the most analytical team members find their "inner artist" when given the freedom to play with vibrant colours.
Lasting Memories: Your team will create a physical piece of art that serves as a permanent reminder of their ability to achieve great things together. 🏆

Step by step

Concept & Briefing: We start with a high-energy intro where our artists share the history of street art and demo the basics of the spray can.
Sketching Your Vision: Your team works together on paper first, brainstorming themes, company values, or "teampower" slogans they want to immortalise.
Safety First: Everyone gets geared up in protective suits, gloves, and masks. We cover the essential 'dos and don'ts' of aerosol art.
Practice Strokes: Before hitting the final piece, we have a practice session where you'll learn how to control line thickness, fading, and 'filling'.
The Outline: Our artists help you scale your design onto the large canvas or wall, setting the foundation for your team's masterpiece.
Layering & Colour: The real fun begins! Your team collaborates to fill in the piece, learning how to blend colours and add vibrant details.
The Finishing Touches: We use specialised tips to add sharp outlines and highlights that make the artwork pop and look professional.
The Big Reveal: We step back to admire the collective work, take team photos, and discuss the creative journey you’ve just shared.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Nestled in the shadow of the majestic Mount Koroyanitu, Tavua is a town known for its grit, gold, and community spirit. Bringing a graffiti workshop here feels naturally aligned with the town's industrial roots and energetic atmosphere. We love taking teams out into the fresh air of the Sunny West, where the Fijian light makes every neon spray can colour truly glow. Our workshops often draw inspiration from the local scenery—from the gold mining heritage to the lush sugar cane fields—giving your team-building day a distinctly "Tavua" soul.

Fun Fact: Tavua is famously located in Fiji's "Gold Corridor." Just like prospecting for gold, graffiti involves digging deep into your creative reserves to find that hidden spark of brilliance! 🏆
