Is the graffiti workshop safe for children?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including gloves and masks. We also use low-odour, professional-grade spray cans specifically chosen to be easier for kids to handle. Our experienced artists in Tavua supervise the group closely at all times, ensuring everyone follows the safety guidelines while having a blast. It’s a controlled, creative environment where the only thing that gets messy is the canvas!

What is the minimum age for a workshop in Tavua?

The sweet spot for our graffiti birthday parties is usually ages 6 and up. At this age, children have the dexterity to push the spray nozzles and the focus to follow the artist's instructions. For younger children, we can adapt the workshop with more stencil work or supervised spraying to ensure they still feel like master artists. It’s all about making sure every guest leaves with a smile and a masterpiece.

What should the kids wear to the party?

Don't worry about the mess! We provide protective overalls, gloves, and masks for all the kids. However, because spray paint can be a bit unpredictable, we always suggest that the children wear 'play clothes' and old trainers that you don't mind getting a little bit of colour on. It adds to the authentic street art experience if they feel they can get stuck in without worrying!

How long does a typical birthday workshop last?

The total duration is usually between 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on the package you choose and the number of guests. This includes the initial safety briefing, the technique practice, and the final 'grand creation' where they make their own individual pieces or a large collaborative mural. We work at a pace that keeps the energy high and the kids fully engaged from start to finish.

Do I need to provide a location for the party?

Flexibility is key! We can host the workshop at a variety of locations in Tavua, including your own backyard, a local park (with permission), or a hired community space. If you don't have a spot in mind, let us know! We have several 'legal wall' locations and partner spaces across Fiji where we can set up the boards and get the creative juices flowing safely.

What happens if it rains on the day?s?

Rain is no problem at all for our team. If you’ve planned an outdoor session and the weather turns, we usually try to find a covered outdoor area or an indoor space with plenty of ventilation. Because we have backup artists and flexible equipment, we can often adjust the setup at short notice to ensure the birthday celebrations aren't dampened by a tropical shower. Fun is guaranteed!

How does the payment process work?

We believe in total transparency and peace of mind. You don't need to pay anything upfront when you book your Tavua workshop. We want you to be 100% satisfied with the experience, so you only pay after the workshop is complete. This takes the stress out of the planning process and ensures our artists are fully committed to delivering the best party ever for your child.

Local culture

Tavua is known as the "Gold Town," and we think your next birthday party should be just as precious! While many visit for the proximity to the Vatukoula Gold Mines, we’re here to bring a different kind of shimmer to the streets of Viti Levu. Our workshops tap into the growing creative energy seen throughout Fiji, blending traditional Fijian vibrant aesthetics with modern street art techniques. Whether we’re setting up near the bustling market or in a quiet backyard overlooking the lush hills, the local Tavua vibe adds a special magic to every session. ✨

Fun fact: Did you know that the word "Tavua" refers to a type of medicinal tree? Just like the local flora, our workshops are all about growth, expression, and bringing new life to the community through art!
