Is the graffiti workshop safe for children?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits for every child. Our professional artists are experienced in working with kids and ensure the spray cans are used correctly and safely. We typically host our Ba workshops in well-ventilated outdoor areas, making it a healthy, supervised, and exhilarating environment for everyone involved. Parents can sit back and relax while we handle the messy stuff!

What is the minimum age for a graffiti birthday party?

We recommend that children be at least 6 years old to get the most out of the experience. At this age, they have the hand strength to operate the spray cans and can follow the basic creative instructions. For younger groups in Ba, we focus more on collaborative play and simpler shapes, while older kids can dive into more technical lettering and advanced shading techniques tailored to their skill level.

Do the kids need any prior drawing or art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for complete beginners. Our expert artists will guide the group through every step, from basic lines to cool 3D effects. Whether your child is a budding Picasso or has never held a spray can before, they will leave the session feeling like a street art pro. It is all about having fun and expressing individual personality through bright colours.

How long does a typical birthday session last?

A standard birthday workshop in Ba usually lasts around 1.5 to 2 hours. This is the perfect 'sweet spot' to keep the energy levels high without the kids getting overtired. We start with a brief intro and safety demo, move on to practice sessions, and spend the final hour creating the main masterpiece. We can also adjust the duration to fit your party schedule if needed!

What should the children wear to the workshop?

While we provide protective overalls, we always suggest that the kids wear 'play clothes' and old trainers. Graffiti is a hands-on art form, and while the suits cover most things, a stray splash of paint is always possible when kids are having this much fun! Please avoid wearing brand-new shoes or expensive designer gear to the workshop area.

Where in Ba can the graffiti party take place?

We are very flexible! We can host the party at a local park in Ba, your own spacious backyard, or a community centre. If you don't have a spot in mind, let us know, and we can help suggest a suitable outdoor location. We just need a bit of wall space or a spot where we can set up our mobile plastic canvases to create the magic.

What happens if it rains on the day of the party?

Fiji's weather can be unpredictable, but we have you covered. Since we use professional-grade spray paint, we ideally need a dry environment. If rain is forecast for your Ba event, we can often move under a large gazebo or use a well-ventilated indoor space. If the weather is really against us, we have a backup artist system to ensure we can reschedule your party as quickly as possible.

Local culture

Ba is known for its incredible community spirit and the iconic Ba River, and we love bringing that same local energy to our workshops! While Ba is famous for its football and sugar cane history, we are adding a splash of modern urban culture to the mix. Fostering creativity in the 'Soccer City' is a fantastic way to give local kids a new outlet for expression. Whether your party is taking place near the bustling town centre or in a quiet residential area, we bring the cool, rhythmic vibe of street art to your doorstep. ✨

Fun Fact: Did you know that the word 'Ba' can refer to the province, the district, and the town? It’s a place of triple significance, just like our workshops which focus on creativity, safety, and 100% fun! 🎨
