What is the minimum age for a graffiti birthday party in Suva?

We recommend children be at least 6 years old to truly enjoy the spray painting experience. For younger kids in Suva, we often focus more on 'tagging' and simple shapes. We provide smaller cans that are easier for little hands to handle, and our artists are experts at keeping the energy high and the safety protocols strictly followed for all age groups.

Do the children need to have any previous drawing or painting skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our professional street artists will guide the kids through every step, from holding the can correctly to layering colours and adding highlights. By the end of the session, even the most 'non-artistic' child will be amazed at the masterpiece they've helped create on their own canvas or our practice wall.

Is the spray paint safe for children to use?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective masks, gloves, and ponchos to keep clothes clean and lungs safe. We also use professional spray paint specifically chosen for its quality. Our instructors in Suva are fully trained in site safety and child supervision, ensuring a worry-free environment where the only thing they need to focus on is having fun.

How long does a typical graffiti birthday workshop last?

Standard birthday workshops typically last between 1.5 and 2 hours. This provides the perfect amount of time to learn the basic techniques, practice some freestyle tagging, and complete a final group or individual project. We find this timeframe keeps the children's engagement levels high without them getting tired, leaving just enough time for cake and snacks afterwards!

Do we need to provide a location, or do you have a studio in Suva?

We are super flexible! We can come to your backyard or garage in Suva, or we can help you find a suitable local venue or public legal wall space. As long as there is adequate ventilation and a bit of space for the kids to move around, we can turn almost any Suva location into a temporary urban art studio.

What should the kids wear to the party?

The children should wear comfortable 'play clothes' and closed-toe shoes. While we provide protective ponchos and gloves, graffiti art can occasionally get a bit messy! It’s best to wear items that you wouldn't mind getting a tiny speck of paint on. We take care of everything else, including all the paint, boards, and safety gear.

How do I book a party and do I need to pay upfront?

Booking is easy and stress-free! Just fill out our contact form or request a quote online. We don't require any upfront payment—you only pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied. We also have backup artists available, so you never have to worry about a last-minute cancellation ruining your child's big day in Suva.

Step by step

Arrival and Gear Up: Our team arrives at your Suva location and gets everyone kitted out in protective gear—masks, gloves, and ponchos at the ready!
The Street Art Intro: We start with a high-energy intro about the history of graffiti and a quick safety demo on how to use the cans properly.
Mastering the Lines: Kids learn the 'three pillars' of spray painting: distance, speed, and pressure. We practice drawing lines and circles on a practice surface.
Tagging Practice: Every artist needs a signature! We help the birthday crew design and spray their own unique street art tag.
Choosing the Theme: The group picks a central theme or a large 'piece' (masterpiece) they want to create together, like the birthday child's name in bubble letters.
The Main Production: Under the guidance of our pro artists, the kids work together to fill in the colours, add shadows, and create cool backgrounds.
Adding the Outlines: This is the magic moment where the artwork truly pops! We show them how to add sharp black outlines and white highlights.
Photo Ops and Gallery Walk: We finish by admiring the work, taking group photos with the masterpiece, and letting the kids show off their individual boards.
Leave No Trace: We pack up all the gear and materials, leaving you with a clean space and a group of very happy, inspired young artists!

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Suva is a city bursting with colour, from the lush greenery of Thurston Gardens to the vibrant stalls of the Suva Municipal Market. Our graffiti birthday party in Suva draws inspiration from this local energy, blending the traditional spirit of Fiji with the modern, urban edge of global street art. While Suva might be known for its stunning harbor views and colonial architecture, there’s a growing appetite for contemporary creative expression among the younger generation.

Fun Fact: Did you know that street art in Fiji often incorporates traditional motifs like 'masi' (tapa cloth) patterns? We love helping kids in Suva brainstorm ways to mix modern graffiti styles with their own cultural heritage, creating something truly unique to the South Pacific! Whether we're setting up near the bustle of Victoria Parade or in a quiet backyard in Samabula, the Suva spirit always shines through in the finished artwork. ✨
