Is the graffiti workshop safe for children during the school holidays?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority during our Suva school holiday workshops. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, disposable gloves, and protective overalls to keep everyone safe and clean. Our instructors are professional artists experienced in working with children and teens, ensuring a supervised environment where they can explore their creativity under expert guidance without any risks.

Do the kids need any previous art experience to join?

No experience? No worries! Most of our participants in Suva are picking up a spray can for the first time. Our friendly artists break down the process into simple, easy-to-follow steps. We start with basic lines and shapes before moving on to more complex techniques like shading and highlights. By the end of the session, everyone will have created something they are truly proud of.

What should my child wear to the graffiti workshop?

We recommend wearing old clothes and comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a little paint on. Even though we provide protective overalls and gear, graffiti can sometimes be a messy business! Since Suva can get quite warm, breathable fabrics are a plus. We take care of all the art supplies, so you just need to bring your enthusiasm and creative energy.

How long does a typical school holiday session last?

Our school holiday sessions typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us plenty of time to cover the history of street art, practice different spray techniques on practice walls, and then complete a final masterpiece. It’s a fast-paced, high-energy environment that keeps kids engaged from start to finish without any room for boredom.

Where in Suva do these workshops take place?

We are flexible! We can host workshops at various creative hubs across Suva, or if you have a specific community centre or private space in mind, we can bring the Graffitifun experience to you. We just need a well-ventilated area or an outdoor space where we can set up our mobile plastic film walls, ensuring a clean and professional setup every time.

How do I book a spot and when do I need to pay?

Booking is easy and stress-free. You can request a quote through our website for your specific group size. The best part? There is no upfront payment required! You only pay after the workshop is completed and everyone is happy with the result. We also have backup artists ready to go, so you never have to worry about last-minute cancellations.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for the school break? It’s more than just painting; it’s an empowering experience that builds confidence and teamwork. Here’s why our Suva sessions are a hit:

Complete creative freedom: No "right" or "wrong" here—just pure, unadulterated expression! ✨
Learn from the pros: Our artists aren't just teachers; they are active street artists with years of experience.
Social and fun: It’s a fantastic way for kids to make new friends and collaborate on big projects.
Physical and active: Moving around a mural is a great way to burn off energy while staying focused.
Zero stress booking: No upfront payment and a 100% satisfaction guarantee. 🏆
Professional tools: We use the best gear in the industry so the kids feel like real pros from minute one.

Step by step

Arrival and safety briefing: We kick things off with a warm "Bula!" and suit everyone up in protective gear, including masks and overalls, while explaining the golden rules of spray paint safety.
History and culture: Our artists share the cool story of how graffiti evolved from New York subways to the vibrant street art seen in Suva today.
The tag creator: Use our interactive tool to sketch out your ideas and design your very own street art persona or "tag" on paper first.
Can control basics: Before hitting the big wall, we practice basic strokes, dots, and lines to get a feel for how the spray pressure works.
Mastering techniques: Kids learn the secrets of "fills," "outlines," and "fading" to make their artwork pop with 3D effects.
The big project: Everyone collaborates on a large-scale mural or works on their individual canvases, putting all their new skills into action.
Finishing touches: Our pro artists help with those tricky highlights and sharp edges to ensure every piece looks gallery-ready.
Photo op and cleanup: We wrap up with a group photo in front of the masterpieces and take care of all the cleaning—leaving the space exactly as we found it!

Good to know

Planning a holiday activity shouldn't be a headache. We’ve streamlined our Suva workshops to be as easy as possible for parents and organisers:

Duration: Most sessions run for 2 hours, but we can customise this from 1.5 to 3 hours to suit your schedule.
Group sizes: We cater to everything from small private groups to large community events with 50+ participants.
Everything included: We provide professional spray cans, safety masks, gloves, protective overalls, and practice surfaces.
Weather proof: If the Suva rain decides to join us, we have indoor setups using eco-friendly water-based paints or mobile shelters.
Safety first: Our team is fully insured and trained in workshop safety, ensuring a worry-free experience for everyone involved.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Suva is a city known for its incredible mix of traditional Fijian heritage and modern Pacific vibes, and the street art scene here is beginning to bloom! From the colourful murals near the Suva Harbour to the creative energy found in the University of the South Pacific's art circles, the city is a canvas waiting to be explored. Our workshops tap into this local spirit, encouraging participants to blend island motifs with urban typography. 🎨

Fun fact: Did you know that some of the best street art in Suva is used to tell local legends and environmental stories? It’s not just paint; it’s visual storytelling!

While we also host workshops in Nadi and Lautoka, there is something truly special about the creative energy of Suva's youth. We love bringing our mobile graffiti walls to local parks and community centres across the capital!

Pricing

Because every group is unique—ranging from small family sessions to massive community holiday programmes—we don’t have a one-size-fits-all price list. Factors like the number of participants, the amount of paint required, and the location in Suva all play a part.

Prices depend on group size and setup—request a quote today!

The best part? You don't have to pay a cent upfront. We believe in our service so much that you only pay once the workshop is finished. Plus, with our backup artist guarantee, your holiday plans are safe with us! 🔥
