Do the participants need any prior art experience?

Absolutely! No prior artistic skills are needed for our youth projects in Ba. Our professional artists are experts at breaking down complex techniques into easy, bite-sized steps. We focus on boostng confidence and showing every participant that they have a unique creative voice. By the end of the session, even those who thought they couldn't draw a stick figure will be amazed at the vibrant masterpiece they've helped create.

Is the graffiti workshop safe for young people?

Safety is our top priority. We provide all necessary protective gear, including high-quality FFP2 masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep clothes clean. Our spray paints are selected for high quality and we always conduct workshops in well-ventilated outdoor areas or large open spaces. Our artists also provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a canister, ensuring a fun and hazard-free environment for everyone involved.

How long does a typical workshop session last?

A standard youth project workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This timeframe allows enough room for a creative introduction, practicing basic techniques, and collaborating on a final large-scale piece. If you have a specific schedule or a full-day youth event in mind, we can certainly customise the duration to fit your programme's needs. Just let us know what works best for your group!

What materials do we need to provide?

We provide everything! Your booking includes premium spray paint in a rainbow of colours, caps for different line widths, protective gear (masks, gloves, suits), and the 'canvas'—whether that’s a temporary wall, boards, or an existing legal space. You literally just need to show up in some old shoes you don't mind getting a bit of dust on, and we will take care of the rest.

Where in Ba do the workshops take place?

We are very flexible! We can host workshops at various local spots in Ba, or we can bring the mobile studio to your youth centre, sports club, or school grounds. If you don't have a space, don't worry—we can help identify a suitable local location that provides the right atmosphere and safety requirements for a legal street art session. We love exploring different corners of the 'Football Town'!

What is the minimum age for participants?

Our graffiti workshops are primarily designed for youths aged 8 and up. This ensures they have the physical strength to operate the spray cans effectively and the focus to follow safety instructions. We tailor our teaching style based on the age group, making sure the content is engaging for younger kids while remaining 'cool' enough to keep teenagers fully invested in the creative process.

How do we book and when do we pay?

Booking is simple! Since every workshop is unique, we ask you to request a quote via our website. Once we have your group size and preferred date, we’ll send over a custom proposal. The best part? You don’t have to pay anything upfront. You only pay after the workshop is successfully completed, ensuring you are 100% satisfied with the experience we provided to your youth group.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next youth initiative in Ba? It’s more than just painting on walls—it’s about building confidence, fostering teamwork, and giving the younger generation a voice in their town. Here’s why our projects stand out: 🚀

Boosts confidence: Seeing a giant mural come to life from their own hands gives youths an incredible sense of achievement. 💪
Promotes teamwork: Graffiti is a collaborative effort; participants learn to communicate and coordinate to finish the piece. 🤝
100% Legal & Safe: we teach the difference between vandalism and street art, focusing on respect and permission.
No Skills Required: Our expert artists guide everyone from total beginners to budding Picassos. 🎨
Memorable & Unique: Move over standard sports—this is a trendy, 'cool' activity that genuinely excites teenagers.
Risk-Free Booking: With our 'pay after' policy and backup artist guarantee, your event is in safe hands. 🛡️

Step by step

Intro and safety first: We start with a high-energy kick-off, introducing the artists and going over the essential safety rules and gear. ✨
Mastering the gear: Everyone gets their masks and gloves on while we explain how the spray cans and different 'caps' work.
Sketching the vision: The group brainstorms themes and learns how to translate their big ideas into a rough sketch on the wall. 🎨
First lines: Participants take turns practicing basic lines, circles, and 'fills' to get a feel for the pressure and flow of the paint.
The big outline: Our pros help the group lay down the main structure of the mural, ensuring the proportions look awesome.
Adding the soul: This is where the magic happens! The youth group dives into filling the art with vibrant colours and gradients. 🔥
Detailing and highlights: We teach the tricks of the trade—adding 'shines', '3D shadows', and those crisp outlines that make the art pop.
Team photoshoot: Once the masterpiece is complete, we take group photos so everyone has a memory of their incredible contribution. 📸
Cleaning up: We pack up all the materials and leave the site tidy, leaving behind nothing but a stunning piece of urban art.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Ba isn't just the 'Football Town' of Fiji—it's a place where community ties run deep and the spirit of 'Hidden Paradise' is felt in every street. From the bustling Ba Market to the shadows of the FSC mill, this town has a unique character that deserves to be celebrated through art. While Fiji is famous for traditional crafts, we’re bringing a modern, urban twist to the local scene, allowing the youth to blend their heritage with contemporary street culture. 🌴

Fun Fact: Did you know that Ba is one of the few places in Fiji where the passion for football rivals the national love for rugby? That same competitive and team-oriented spirit makes our graffiti workshops a huge hit here, as participants work together to create something bigger than themselves! ⚽️ 🎤
