What exactly is live painting and how does it work?

Live painting is a dynamic performance where our artists create a large-scale graffiti mural from scratch during your event in Ba. Unlike a pre-painted piece, your guests get to witness the entire creative process, from the first sketch to the final highlight. It adds an element of high-energy entertainment and visual spectacle that recorded media or static displays simply can’t match, making it perfect for brand launches or celebrations.

Will the paint smell or make a mess at my indoor venue?

Not at all! We use low-odour, professional-grade spray paints and can even set up specialised extraction or work in well-ventilated areas. If your Ba venue is strictly indoors with limited airflow, we can switch to high-quality acrylic markers or airbrushing techniques to ensure there is zero smell or mess, while still delivering that vibrant, high-impact street art look you want for your event.

How long does it take to complete a live mural?

The beauty of live painting is its flexibility! A standard performance usually lasts between 2 and 4 hours, which perfectly covers the peak time of most events or product launches. However, we can also scale this up for multi-day festivals or condense it into a high-speed 'stunt' performance. We'll work with your schedule in Ba to ensure the 'big reveal' happens exactly when you need it.

Can we request specific themes or company logos?

Our artists are experts at translating your brand identity or event theme into street art. Before the event, we’ll discuss your goals, colour palettes, and any specific logos or slogans you want included. We can create a custom sketch for your approval, ensuring that while the execution remains raw and authentic, the final message is 100% aligned with your vision for the Ba gathering.

What do I need to provide for the artist?

We are fully self-sufficient! The Graffitifun team brings all the necessary materials, including premium spray cans, drop cloths to protect the floor, and safety gear. All we typically need from you is a flat vertical surface (or we can provide a mobile wooden wall) and a bit of space for the artist to move. We handle the setup and the cleanup, leaving you to enjoy the party.

Is there an option for guests to join in the painting?

Yes, we love it when guests get involved! While the main mural is usually handled by our professional artist to ensure a polished final look, we can easily set up a 'guest participation zone' nearby. Here, your attendees in Ba can grab a can and add their own tags or splashes of colour under our guidance, making the experience even more interactive and memorable for everyone involved.

What happens if it rains during an outdoor event?

Fiji weather can be unpredictable, but we’re always prepared. If your event in Ba is outdoors, we recommend having a marquee or a covered area as a backup. If it starts to rain, we can pause or move to a sheltered spot. Our paints are water-resistant once dry, so the final masterpiece will look incredible regardless of a little tropical humidity or a passing shower.

Local culture

Ba is known for its hardworking spirit and vibrant community, located in Fiji's famous 'Sugar City' region. While the town is legendary for its football and agriculture, the local creative scene is rapidly growing. Integrating live street art into a Ba event brings a modern, urban edge to the traditional Fijian warmth. From the bustling market vibes to the scenic surrounding hills, we draw inspiration from the local scenery to create murals that resonate with the Ba community. 🔥

Fun fact: Ba is home to one of the most successful football teams in the Pacific—sometimes we even incorporate a bit of that local 'Men in Black' pride into our custom designs! ⚽
