What requirements are needed to host a live painting session in Lautoka?

Hosting a live painting event in Lautoka is straightforward! We handle the logistics, from high-quality spray paints to protective flooring. All we need from you is a designated space and a clear brief on what you want the artist to create. Our professional team brings all the necessary supplies, ensuring a mess-free and high-energy performance that keeps your guests talking long after the paint has dried. Ready to transform your event space? Talk to us today!

Can the artist paint a specific design or brand logo?

Absolutely! Whether you want a specific logo, a company mission statement, or a piece that reflects the vibrant culture of Fiji, our artists are experts at customisation. We collaborate with you during the planning phase to sketch out concepts that align with your event's theme or brand identity. The result is a bespoke piece of art that serves as a permanent memory of your special occasion or milestone.

Is the spray paint safe for indoor events and guests?

Quality and safety are our top priorities. We use professional-grade spray paints and acrylic markers that are vibrant and durable. If your event is indoors in Lautoka, we can use low-odour, water-based spray cans or specialized markers to ensure your guests remain comfortable. We also provide all necessary floor coverings and ventilation advice to ensure the experience is as clean and safe as it is spectacular.

Can my guests participate in the painting process?

Watching the creative process is high-energy fun! While live painting is primarily a performance, we can often arrange 'interactive moments' where guests can add a small stroke or tag under the artist's guidance. If you want a more hands-on experience for everyone, we recommend checking out our dedicated company events or kids' parties workshops! For live painting, the focus remains on the professional artist delivering a stunning final masterpiece.

How long does a live painting performance typically last?

We offer total flexibility. A standard live painting session in Lautoka usually lasts between 2 and 4 hours, which is perfect for most corporate functions or festivals. However, for larger murals or multi-day brand activations, we can extend the performance over several days. We work around your schedule to ensure the climax of the painting aligns perfectly with your event's 'wow' moment or keynote speech.

Do I need to pay a deposit upfront for the booking?

No, there is no upfront payment required! We believe in the quality of our service and want you to feel completely confident. You only pay after the workshop or performance is completed. This ensures peace of mind for event planners and organisers in Fiji. Furthermore, we have backup artists available to ensure that your event goes ahead even in the unlikely case of an artist being unavailable.

What happens to the artwork after the event ends?

Once the paint is dry, the artwork is yours! Most Lautoka clients choose to have the art created on a large canvas or a series of wooden panels. This makes it easy to transport and mount in your office, lobby, or home as a lasting memento. If you’ve booked us for a brand activation, this piece becomes a unique asset for your marketing or social media content!

Local culture

Lautoka, famously known as the Sugar City due to its massive sugar mill, has a heartbeat of industry and tradition. But beneath the green canopies of the Flame Trees, there's a growing appetite for modern creative expression. Our live painting performances tap into this local energy, bringing a fresh, urban vibe to the Coral Coast's doorstep. Whether we are painting near the bustling Shirley Park or at a resort function along the waterfront, we draw inspiration from the vibrant tropical landscape and the warmth of the Fijian people.

Fun Fact about Lautoka: Did you know Lautoka is the second largest city in Fiji? It’s a city where industrial heritage meets island charm, making it the perfect backdrop for art that combines gritty street techniques with lush, vibrant designs! 🌴

In a city that prides itself on its sugar production, we’re here to add some visual "sweetness" to your events. Our artists love incorporating local Fijian motifs or the iconic blue of the Pacific into their work, making every piece feel deeply connected to the island. 🏝️
