Is the graffiti workshop safe for participants with special needs?

Absolutely! Safety is our top priority in Ba. We use high-quality, low-odour spray paint and provide all necessary protective gear, including masks, gloves, and aprons. Our professional artists are trained to supervise the session closely, ensuring everyone uses the equipment correctly while having a blast. We adapt the environment to suit the sensory needs of our participants, making it a secure space for everyone to explore their creativity.

Do we need any previous art experience to join?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, especially for those who have never picked up a spray can before. Our friendly artists in Ba guide you through every step, from basic lines to filling in colours. We focus on the joy of movement and expression rather than technical perfection. Everyone leaves with a sense of achievement and a unique piece of art they created themselves.

How do you accommodate different types of disabilities?

We pride ourselves on being fully inclusive. Whether participants have physical disabilities, learning difficulties, or sensory sensitivities, we adapt our teaching style and tools. We can provide stools for those who need to sit, adjust the height of the canvases, and offer different types of nozzle caps that are easier to press. Just let us know your specific requirements when booking, and we’ll handle the rest!

How long does a typical session last?

Our standard special needs workshops in Ba typically last between 1.5 to 2 hours. This timeframe is perfect for keeping energy levels high without causing fatigue. However, we are completely flexible! If your group requires a shorter session with more frequent breaks, or a longer, more relaxed pace, we can customise the schedule to fit your specific needs and attention spans.

What should participants wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing old clothes and comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a bit of 'artistic' paint on. While we provide protective aprons and gloves, graffiti can sometimes be a bit messy when the creativity starts flowing! Since Ba can be quite warm, breathable fabrics are a great choice. We provide everything else, including the paint, canvases, and safety equipment.

Where in Ba do the workshops take place?

We can host the workshop at various accessible locations in Ba, or we can even come to you! If you have a specific community centre, school hall, or outdoor space in mind that is familiar to your participants, our team is happy to set up there. We ensure the workspace is well-ventilated and has enough room for everyone to move comfortably, including wheelchair users.

How do I book and what are the costs?

Getting a quote is super easy! Since every group has different needs and sizes, our pricing is bespoke. You can use our online Cost Calculator for a quick estimate, or simply send us an enquiry. We don't require any upfront payment—you only pay after the workshop is complete. We’re all about making the process as stress-free and transparent as possible for you.

Local culture

Ba is famous for its vibrant community spirit and its deep roots in Fiji's agricultural and sporting history. We bring that same local energy into our workshops! While Ba might be known for its iconic FSC sugar mill and football prowess, we are adding a splash of urban colour to the local scene. Our workshops often take inspiration from the lush greens of the Ba River valley and the bright, sunny disposition of the local residents. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know that Ba is often called 'Men in Black' territory because of its legendary football team? We love bringing that same team spirit and local pride into our creative sessions, encouraging everyone to work together on a "championship-level" piece of art! 🏆

Pricing

Our workshop prices are tailored to your specific requirements, including group size and the choice of materials. We believe in transparency and flexibility, which is why we offer a 'pay after' guarantee. 💸
