What should I wear to a graffiti networking event?

For our creative networking events in Pretoria, we recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little paint on. While we provide high-quality protective overalls and gloves, graffiti can sometimes be a bit messy! Think casual and practical. If you’re coming straight from the office, our gear will cover you up, but leaving the expensive designer suit in the car might be a wise move for maximum creative freedom.

Do I need any prior art or graffiti experience?

Absolutely not! Our professional artists guide you through the entire process, from basic spray can techniques to creating your first 'piece'. These events are designed to level the playing field, making them perfect for both absolute beginners and those with a hidden artistic streak. It’s more about the shared experience and making connections than it is about being the next Banksy—though we’ll help you look like one!

How long does a typical networking workshop last?

A standard creative networking session usually lasts between 2 to 3 hours. This provides ample time for an initial meet-and-greet, a crash course in graffiti techniques, the actual painting session, and a final wrap-up where everyone can admire the work and exchange contact details. We find this rhythm works perfectly to keep energy levels high without taking up your entire day or evening.

Where in Pretoria do these events take place?

We are incredibly flexible! We can host the event at one of our vibrant outdoor street art spots in Pretoria, or we can bring the entire setup to your office, a local conference hall, or a garden venue. We use specialized low-odour spray paint for indoor-suitable setups and ensure floors and walls are fully protected. Whether it's a rooftop in Hatfield or a warehouse in Silverton, we make it happen.

What materials are included in the booking?

We provide everything you need to get started! This includes a wide range of premium spray cans in every colour of the rainbow, nozzles (caps) for different effects, protective overalls, gloves, and high-quality masks. We also provide the 'canvas'—whether that’s a collective wall, individual boards, or even a brand-themed mural. You just need to bring your enthusiasm and your business cards!

Is the workshop safe and professional?

Safety is our top priority. We use high-quality, low-toxicity aerosol paints and provide professional-grade protective equipment to all participants. Our instructors are experienced artists who give a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can. We ensure proper ventilation at all venues and maintain a supervised environment throughout the session to ensure everyone has a fun, injury-free experience.

What happens if I need to cancel or change my booking?

We understand that business plans can change! That’s why we offer a flexible booking system with no upfront payment required—you only pay after the workshop is completed. We also have a dedicated team of backup artists ready to step in, so your event is never at risk of being cancelled due to staff illness. We focus on 100% satisfaction to ensure your networking goals are met.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti-themed networking event in Pretoria instead of the usual coffee mixer? Here is why it works:

Organic icebreakers: It’s hard to be shy when you’re both trying to figure out how to spray a perfect circle! ⭕
Memorability: You won't remember another board meeting, but you’ll definitely remember the day you painted a mural in P-Town. 🧠
Equality: On the canvas, everyone is a beginner. It removes corporate hierarchies and encourages genuine human connection.
Tangible results: You’ll have a physical piece of art (and plenty of photos) to commemorate the new partnerships you’ve built. 🏆
Expert guidance: Our professional Pretoria-based artists ensure your event runs smoothly and looks amazing.
Flexibility: From company events to brand activations, we adapt to your goals.

Step by step

Warm welcome: Grab a drink and meet your fellow Pretoria professionals in a relaxed, non-traditional setting. 🥤
Artist intro: Our pro graffiti artists share the history of street art and demo the basic 'can control' techniques.
Concept sketching: Grab a marker and brainstorm ideas that represent your industry or networking goals on a draft sheet.
Suit up: Get into your protective gear—overalls and gloves on—so you’re ready to get messy without the stress. 🛡️
The first spray: Head to the wall or canvas and start layering your background colours under the guidance of our pros.
Collaborative painting: Work alongside your new connections to fill in shapes, add shadows, and create 'burners'.
Detailing & Outlining: This is where the magic happens! Add the sharp lines and 'shines' that make the artwork pop. ✨
Photo op & wrap-up: Take group photos with the finished masterpiece—perfect for your LinkedIn profile or company newsletter! 📸
Final networking: Trade details and discuss future collaborations while the paint dries and spirits remain high.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Pretoria isn't just the administrative heart of South Africa; it's a city pulsating with hidden creativity. From the street art tucked away in the lanes of the CBD to the youthful energy of Hatfield and the artistic hubs in Brooklyn, Pretoria provides the perfect backdrop for a creative revolution. Our workshops tap into this local spirit, moving away from formal settings into the raw, expressive world of urban art.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Pretoria’s iconic purple Jacaranda trees were originally imported? Just like those trees have become a local staple, we’re planting new seeds of creativity in the city's professional community! 🌳💜

Whether we are setting up near the Union Buildings or at a trendy venue in Pretoria East, we bring the authentic South African "Geest" (spirit) to every session. We've worked across the Gauteng province, and we know exactly how to get a Pretoria crowd buzzing with excitement.
