Step by step

  1. Consultation: We chat with your school to understand your goals, whether it's a team-building day for Grade 7s or a creative art lesson for the whole school.
  2. Design approval: If we are doing a mural, our artists create a sketch based on your school's values or a chosen theme for your final approval.
  3. Set-up: Our team arrives at your Pretoria school early to set up protective sheets, canvases, and all the gear needed for a safe session.
  4. Safety briefing: We start with a fun but serious talk about how to use the equipment safely and the importance of "legal" street art.
  5. Technique demo: Our artists show the learners the basics: how to fade, how to outline, and how to create cool effects with different nozzles.
  6. Practice run: Learners get to practice their first lines and shapes on practice boards to get a feel for the spray cans.
  7. The main creation: The kids work together (or individually) to create their masterpiece, guided every step of the way by our pros.
  8. Final touches: Our artists help add those professional sharp outlines and highlights to make the artwork really pop.
  9. Clean-up & photo op: We pack everything away, leaving your school spotless, while the kids get to pose for photos with their incredible new art.

Local culture

Street art in Pretoria

Pretoria, the vibrant heart of Gauteng, is a city exploding with culture and history. From the purple-drenched streets in October to the bustling energy of Hatfield, there's inspiration around every corner. Our workshops tap into this local spirit, encouraging Pretoria’s youth to contribute to the city\'s growing reputation for world-class street art. We believe that by teaching kids the difference between "vandalism" and "artistic expression," we help foster a generation that respects and beautifies their local community.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Pretoria is home to some of the most stunning large-scale murals in South Africa? Street art has become a key part of the city\'s urban renewal projects, proving that a little bit of paint can change the way people feel about their neighborhood! 🇿🇦
