What is the age limit for the Kaduna holiday workshop?

Our graffiti school holiday workshops are designed for children and teenagers aged 6 to 18. We group participants by age and skill level to ensure everyone gets the right amount of attention and challenge. Younger kids focus on basic shapes and safety, while older students can dive into complex shading and letter styles. It is a fantastic way for Nigerian youth to express themselves in a safe environment.

Is it safe for my child to use spray paint?

Safety is our number one priority! We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep clothes clean. Our spray paints are low-odor and we always work in well-ventilated outdoor or semi-outdoor spaces in Kaduna. Our professional artists supervise every single move to ensure the spray cans are used correctly and everyone has a safe, blast of a time!

Do the kids need any previous art experience?

Not at all! This workshop is perfectly designed for beginners. Most of our students have never touched a spray can before they meet us. We start with the absolute basics—how to hold the can, how to control the pressure, and how to stay safe. By the end of the session, they will be amazed at the masterpiece they created from scratch. Experience isn't needed, just a smile!

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything! Your booking includes premium spray paint cans in a wide range of colors, protective gear (masks, gloves, suits), and the surfaces we will be painting on. Students just need to wear comfortable shoes and old clothes (just in case!). We even handle the clean-up afterward. It’s a complete, stress-free package for parents looking for holiday activities in Kaduna.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard school holiday session in Kaduna typically lasts between 2 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for the safety briefing, practicing basic lines, sketching their designs, and completing the final mural. We find this timeframe is perfect for keeping energy levels high and focus sharp without the kids getting tired. It’s the ultimate half-day creative adventure!

Do I need to pay in advance?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our flexibility. We don't require any upfront payment or deposits to secure your booking for the Kaduna workshop. You can pay after the workshop is completed and you are 100% satisfied with the experience. We believe in the quality of our service and want you to feel completely confident when booking with us.

Can parents stay and watch the workshop?

Absolutely! We encourage parents to come and see the final results. While the kids are working, you can relax nearby, but we love it when parents join for the 'grand reveal' at the end of the session. It’s a great photo opportunity to see your child standing proudly next to their first-ever piece of street art. Don't forget to bring your camera!

Step by step

Arrival and gear up: We kick things off by getting everyone fitted with professional protective suits, gloves, and masks. Safety first, but we make it look cool too! 🛡️
Artist introduction: Meet our pro graffiti artists who will share the history of street art and show off some mind-blowing skills to get the inspiration flowing.
First lines: No pressure here! Kids start by practicing basic lines, dots, and sprays on practice boards to get a feel for how the spray can works.
Sketching the vision: Every student gets to brainstorm and sketch their own 'tag' or design on paper before we move to the big wall. ✍️
Color selection: Pick your palette! We have a huge range of vibrant colors. Our artists help the kids choose colors that pop and work well together.
Outline and fill: Time to go big! Students start outlining their designs on the main surface and filling them in with bold, bright colors. 🎨
Adding the 'vibe': This is where the magic happens. We teach them how to add 3D effects, shadows, and cool highlights to make the art jump off the wall.
The finishing touch: Participants add their "tag" (signature) to their work, marking their official entry into the world of street art.
Photo session and cleanup: We wrap up with a group photo of the masterpiece and handle all the cleaning, leaving only the art and great memories behind! 📸
