Do I need any previous art experience to participate?

Our showroom experiences are designed for everyone, from absolute beginners to seasoned creatives. You don't need any prior drawing or painting skills to have a blast. Our professional Adelaide artists spend the first part of the session teaching you basic can control, safety, and letter construction. We’ll guide you step-by-step so you walk away with a piece of art you’re actually proud to show off!

Is the spray paint safe and do you provide protective gear?

Safety is our top priority! We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective ponchos to keep your clothes clean. The showroom is well-ventilated, and we use professional-grade spray paint specifically designed for ease of use. Our instructors provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring a fun and worry-free environment for kids and adults alike. Plus, we're fully insured for your peace of mind.

What should I wear to the graffiti showroom?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little 'artistic' on. While we provide ponchos and gloves, spray paint is permanent and can occasionally find its way onto shoes or sleeves. Closed-toe shoes are a must for safety. If you’re visiting our Adelaide showroom during a busy shopping day, don't worry—our gear is quite effective at keeping your street clothes protected!

Can I book the showroom for a private party or corporate event?

Absolutely! Whether you are celebrating a birthday, a buck’s night, or a corporate team-building day, the showroom is the perfect venue. We can accommodate various group sizes and can even tailor the theme of the workshop to suit your event. From collaborative murals to individual canvases that guests can take home, we make sure your special occasion is memorable and full of colour.

How long does the showroom experience usually last?

A standard showroom experience in Adelaide typically lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, and plenty of hands-on painting time. If you’re looking for a more intensive masterclass or a specific brand activation setup, we can extend the duration to fit your needs. Just let us know your schedule!

Do I get to take my artwork home with me?

One of the best parts of our showroom experience is that you get to keep what you create! Depending on the package you choose, you’ll be painting on high-quality canvases or boards that are yours to take home once the paint is dry. It’s a fantastic souvenir of your time in the Adelaide street art scene and a unique piece of decor for your home.

How much does a session cost and how do I pay?

Our pricing is flexible and usually falls between A$40 and A$90 per person. The final cost depends on the number of participants, the duration of the session, and the materials used (like canvas sizes). We offer great rates for larger groups and schools. Because every experience is a bit unique, we recommend requesting a custom quote so we can give you the best possible price.

The experience

Why choose our showroom experience in the heart of South Australia? Because we offer more than just a paint session—we offer an immersive entrance into the world of underground art, minus the legal risks! Here’s why we’re the top choice in Adelaide:

Central Adelaide Vibe: Our showroom is right in the thick of it, making it the perfect start to a night out or a team day in the CBD. 🏙️
Expert Mentors: Learn from real deals. Our artists live and breathe the Adelaide street art scene. 🎤
Rain or Shine: Don't worry about the weather. Our indoor showroom means the creative vibes never stop, even if it's pouring. ⛈️
Premium Gear: We use the good stuff—professional European spray cans with various nozzles for that authentic feel. 🎨
Zero Pressure: It’s all about the fun! Our instructors are there to help you fix any "happy accidents" and ensure you love your final piece. ✨
Easy Booking: No upfront payment and a stress-free booking process so you can focus on the art. 💪

Step by step

Arrival and vibe check: Step into our creative Adelaide showroom and get inspired by the urban art surrounding you. Meet your lead artist and get settled in.
The brief: We’ll kick things off with a quick intro to graffiti culture and the "rules of the street"—focusing on creativity and respect.
Gear up: Safety first! We’ll fit you with a professional mask, gloves, and a poncho so you stay clean while the art gets messy.
Can control 101: Learn the basics of spray painting. Your instructor will show you how to pull clean lines, create dots, and manage pressure.
Sketching your design: Grab a marker or use light spray to outline your concept. Whether it's a tag, a character, or a wildstyle piece, we’ll help you refine it.
Filling and fading: This is where the colour happens. Learn how to blend shades and create those iconic graffiti gradients.
The "cut-back": Use background colours to sharpen your edges and make your piece pop off the wall or canvas.
Final outlines and highlights: Add those crisp final touches and white highlights that give your artwork that professional 3D look.
Photo op and wrap-up: Snap some photos with your masterpiece before we pack up your canvas for you to take home and show off!

Local culture

Adelaide might be known as the "City of Churches," but its laneways tell a much more colourful story. From the iconic murals in the East End to the evolving street art scene in Port Adelaide, the city is a canvas for world-class talent. Our showroom experience taps directly into this local energy, offering a bridge between seeing the art on Hindley Street and creating it yourself in a safe, professional environment.

Fun Fact: Did you know Adelaide hosts the 'Wonderwalls' festival? It has transformed many of the city's industrial spaces into giant outdoor galleries, proving that South Australia is a massive heavyweight in the global street art scene! 🏆

By joining us, you're not just taking a class; you're becoming part of the local creative fabric. We often feature guest artists who have contributed to Adelaide’s most famous walls, giving you an insider's look at the techniques that make our city so visually spectacular. 🇦🇺🔥
