Can my guests actually participate in the painting?

Absolutely! While our artists work their magic, we often set up a 'tagging wall' or smaller canvases where guests can pick up a spray can under professional supervision. It’s a fantastic way to break the ice and let your guests feel like part of the creative process. All safety gear is provided, and our crew ensures everyone has a blast while staying safe and clean! 🎨

What kind of surfaces can you paint on?

We are incredibly flexible. We can paint on custom-built timber walls, large-scale canvases, transportable MDF boards, or even vehicles and shipping containers. If you have a specific surface in mind for your Adelaide event, just let us know. We bring all the necessary drop cloths and masking materials to ensure the surrounding area remains spotless while the art comes to life. ✨

How long does a live painting session usually take?

A typical live painting performance lasts between 2 and 4 hours, which usually aligns perfectly with the peak of an event. However, we can adapt to full-day festivals or multi-day activations if required. We work with you during the planning phase to ensure the artwork reaches its 'grand reveal' moment exactly when you want it to happen during your schedule! ⏱️

Is it safe to have spray painting indoors?

Safety is our top priority. Our Adelaide artists use low-odour, professional-grade spray paints where possible, and we always ensure adequate ventilation. For indoor events, we can use water-based acrylics or specialized paint markers to keep fumes to an absolute minimum. We also provide protective flooring and screens to keep your venue pristine and your guests comfortable. 🛡️

Do we get to keep the artwork after the event?

Yes, the final masterpiece is yours to keep! Many of our Adelaide clients hang the finished canvas in their office, shop, or home as a permanent memory of the event. If we've painted on a temporary wall, we can discuss options for dismantling or weatherproofing. It’s a great way to get a unique piece of professional street art while entertaining your crowd! 🏆

Do I need to provide the design or ideas?

Not at all! Our professional artists can work from a specific brief, incorporating your brand colours, logos, or a theme that matches your event (like 'Future Adelaide' or 'Coastal Vibes'). Alternatively, you can give our artists 'creative freedom' to freestyle something inspired by the energy of the crowd. We’ll confirm the design concept with you well before the first can is shaken. 🎤

The experience

Why settle for a DJ alone when you can have a visual explosion? Here’s why a live painting performance is the go-to choice for Adelaide’s best events:

Stop them in their tracks: It’s a natural crowd-puller that keeps people engaged for hours. 🔥
Epic content: Perfect for Reels, TikToks, and event photography—it's highly Instagrammable! 📸
Brand power: We can weave your logos and brand colours into the art for a subtle but powerful marketing punch. 🚀
Versatile vibes: From sophisticated gallery styles to gritty underground street art, we match your event's DNA.
Total reliability: With our backup artist policy, the show will always go on, no matter what. 💪
Tangible memory: You get a custom piece of art to keep for your office or to auction off for charity. 🏆

Step by step

Initial shout-out: Drop us a line with your event date, location in Adelaide, and any wild ideas you have.
Creative brainstorming: We’ll chat about your theme, whether it’s a corporate logo, a portrait, or abstract street style.
The perfect match: We pair you with one of our pro graffiti artists whose style fits your vibe perfectly.
Site check & logistics: We sort out the boring stuff like surface prep, floor protection, and ventilation requirements.
Artist arrival: On the day, our crew shows up early to set up the 'stage' and get the cans ready for action.
The performance: The painting begins! Watch as the crowd gathers to see the artwork emerge from the first sketch to the final highlight.
Interaction: If you've opted for it, this is where guests can jump in for a quick 'tag' or photo op with the artist.
The grand reveal: The final touches are applied, the tape comes off, and your custom masterpiece is complete.
Pack down: We clean up the area completely, leaving you with nothing but a stunning piece of art and happy guests.

Local culture

Adelaide has a legendary street art scene, from the hidden gems in the West End alleys to the massive murals of the Wonderwalls festival in Port Adelaide. We love bringing that raw, local 'Radelaide' energy into private events and corporate spaces. Our artists are deeply embedded in the South Australian creative community, ensuring your event feels authentic and connected to the city's unique aesthetic.

Fun fact: Did you know Adelaide is home to some of the tallest murals in Australia? The city’s love for 'big art' makes a live painting performance the perfect fit for any local celebration! 🏆
