How long does a typical showroom workshop last?

Our Wewak showroom experiences typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives you plenty of time to learn the basic spray techniques, experiment with different caps, and complete your final masterpiece under the guidance of our professional artists. If you are planning a larger retail event or a brand promotion, we can adjust the schedule to fit your specific opening hours or event timeline. Just let us know what works best for your schedule!

Is the graffiti experience safe for everyone?

Absolutely! Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. The spray paints we use are professional-grade but handled with strict safety protocols. Our artists are experienced in managing groups of all skill levels, ensuring that everyone has a blast while staying completely safe. Whether you are indoors at a retail space or in an open-air showroom, we make sure the environment is well-ventilated and secure for everyone involved.

Do I need any prior art experience to participate?

Not at all! Our showroom experiences are designed specifically for beginners. Most of our guests in Wewak have never touched a spray can before. Our professional artists will guide you through every single step, from holding the can correctly to masterfully blending colours. You will be amazed at how quickly you can create something that looks professional. It is all about having fun, getting messy, and discovering your hidden creative side in a relaxed, supportive environment.

What materials are included in the session?

We provide everything you need to become a street artist for the day. This includes a wide range of premium spray paint colours, various nozzles (caps) for different effects, protective clothing, and the canvas or wall space for your creation. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little dusty (just in case!) and bring plenty of energy. We handle the setup and the cleanup, so you can focus entirely on the art.

Can you customise the workshop for a specific brand or product launch?

Yes, we love helping brands stand out! Our showroom experiences are perfect for retail activations, product launches, or grand openings in Wewak. We can customise the workshop to include your brand colours, logos, or specific themes. It is a fantastic way to engage customers and create a memorable "Instagrammable" moment in your shop or showroom. This interactive element keeps people in your store longer and creates a positive, creative association with your business.

What is the maximum group size for a showroom event?

We are very flexible with group sizes! Whether you are a small team of 5 looking for a unique outing or a large retail crowd of 50+, we can accommodate you. For larger groups in Wewak, we often set up multiple stations or run the experience in a 'drop-in' format so everyone gets a turn. If you have a specific number in mind, just reach out and we will create a custom plan that ensures everyone gets hands-on time.

Step by step

The warm-up: You will meet our pro artist at your Wewak location and get a quick intro to the vibrant history of street art.
Safety first: Suit up in our provided protective gear—masks, gloves, and overalls—so your clothes stay fresh.
Master the tech: Learn how to control the spray can, swap nozzles for different line widths, and manage pressure like a pro.
Sketching your vision: Map out your design on the canvas or showroom wall using light "phantom" lines to guide your work.
Fill and flow: Start adding vibrant colours! Our artists will show you how to blend gradients and create smooth fills.
The outline: Use high-contrast colours to define your shapes and make your graffiti "pop" off the surface.
Fine details: Add highlights, shines, and 3D shadows to give your artwork depth and a professional finish.
The final tag: Every artist needs a signature. Create your own unique tag to sign off on your masterpiece.
Gallery reveal: Step back, snap some photos for the 'gram, and admire the collective creativity of your group!

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Wewak is the gateway to the mighty Sepik River, a place where traditional art and carving have flourished for centuries. By bringing a graffiti showroom experience to Wewak, we’re creating a bridge between those ancient artistic traditions and modern global street culture. Imagine the vibrant patterns of Sepik carvings reimagined through the lens of bold, neon spray paint! The local community has a deep appreciation for visual storytelling, making Wewak the perfect backdrop for a retail-based creative event.

Fun Fact: Wewak was a major base for the Imperial Japanese Army during WWII. Today, it’s a peaceful paradise, but that history of resilience and transformation makes it an inspiring place to create transformative art! 🎨

From the bustling markets to the quiet beauty of Cape Wom, the spirit of Wewak is all about connection and expression. Our workshops tap into that local energy, encouraging everyone from shop owners to passing shoppers to stop, pick up a can, and add their unique voice to the city's growing contemporary art scene.
