Is the graffiti workshop safe for people with special needs?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits for every participant. Our artist-mentors are trained to supervise groups with diverse needs, ensuring everyone uses the equipment correctly. We also use low-odour professional spray paint where possible to ensure the environment remains comfortable for those with sensory sensitivities to smells.

Are your Prague locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes, we can! We have several locations in Prague that are fully wheelchair accessible with flat surfaces and wide entryways. If you prefer us to come to you, we can set up a mobile graffiti wall at your day centre, school, or community hub. Just let us know your mobility requirements during the booking process so we can ensure the perfect spot is ready for your group.

How long does the workshop last?

We recommend a session length of about 90 minutes to 2 hours for our special needs programs. This allows enough time for a relaxed introduction, creative practice, and the final masterpiece without it becoming overstimulating or tiring. However, we are completely flexible; if your group needs more frequent breaks or a shorter, high-energy session, we will adapt the pace to suit your rhythm.

Do participants need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our Prague street artists are experts at breaking down the techniques into simple, manageable steps. We focus on the joy of movement and the magic of colour rather than technical perfection. Whether someone wants to paint a simple shape or a complex character, we provide the support needed to make it happen.

What is the ideal group size for this program?

The number of participants can vary, but for special needs groups, we usually recommend smaller ratios to ensure everyone gets plenty of individual attention. We typically work with groups from 5 to 20 people, but we can accommodate larger groups by bringing in additional professional artists. This ensures that every participant feels heard, supported, and guided throughout their creative journey in Prague.

What should we bring to the workshop?

We suggest wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on. While we provide full protective overalls, graffiti can sometimes be a bit messy! If the workshop is outdoors at a legal wall in Prague, please dress for the weather. We provide everything else: paint, masks, gloves, and the canvas or wall space for your art.

How do I book a workshop and what are the payment terms?

Booking is easy and flexible. You can use our online cost calculator for an initial estimate or send us an enquiry directly. We don't require any upfront payment—you only pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied. We also have backup artists on standby, so you never have to worry about a last-minute cancellation. We're here to make it stress-free!

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your special needs program in Prague? Because street art is a "yes" environment—there are no mistakes, only new layers of paint! It’s a wonderful way to boost confidence and motor skills in a relaxed setting. ✨

Sensory Engagement: The hiss of the can, the vibrant colours, and the physical movement make it a multi-sensory delight. 🌈
Full Accessibility: We use wheelchair-friendly locations and can bring the "mobile wall" directly to your facility.
Skilled Mentors: Our Prague artists are experienced in working with diverse learning and physical needs, focusing on patience and encouragement.
Total Flexibilty: No pressure, no deadlines. We work at the pace that makes your group feel most comfortable.
Confidence Building: Seeing a giant, colourful masterpiece that you helped create provides an incredible sense of achievement. 🏆
Zero Stress Booking: With backup artists and no-prepayment policy, your event is in safe hands.

Step by step

Initial consultation: Reach out to us to discuss the specific needs, interests, and abilities of your group so we can tailor the session.
Location selection: Choose between one of our accessible street art spots in Prague or have us bring the 'mobile wall' to your facility.
Safety briefing: We start by getting everyone suited up in protective gear and explaining how to use the spray cans safely and comfortably.
Practice session: Participants get to 'feel' the spray cans, experimenting with different nozzles (caps) to see how they create different lines and effects.
Design phase: Together with our artists, the group decides on a theme or a giant 'tag' that represents their collective spirit.
Filling in: This is the fun part! Everyone grabs their favourite colours and starts filling in the shapes, learning how to blend and layer.
Outlining & details: Our professional artists help add the finishing touches, high-lights, and outlines to make the artwork really pop.
Photo session: We capture the proud moments and the final masterpiece with a group photo in front of the new creation.
Wrap up: Clean up is on us! Participants leave with a huge sense of accomplishment (and maybe a custom canvas to take home).

Good to know

We've thought of everything to make your experience smooth and enjoyable:

Duration: Typically 1.5 to 2.5 hours, but we can adapt to your group's stamina.
Group Sizes: We cater to small, intimate groups or larger organisations with multiple instructors.
Everything Included: We provide all professional spray paint, nozzles, gloves, masks, and protective overalls.
Safety First: Our sessions are fully insured, and we use high-standard safety equipment at all times.
Weather: If we are outdoors and it rains, we can relocate to a covered spot or reschedule—we always have a backup plan! ☔
Support: Carers and support staff are encouraged to participate for free to help their clients feel comfortable.

Local culture

Prague is a city where history and modern street art collide in the most beautiful way. While the city is famous for its Gothic spires, the legal graffiti walls in districts like Holešovice and Vltavská showcase a different kind of local soul. Our workshops draw inspiration from the city's legendary Lennon Wall, a symbol of freedom and creative expression that has evolved for decades. We believe that everyone in Prague deserves a chance to contribute to this colourful legacy.

Fun Fact: Did you know that the John Lennon Wall in Prague was once a major site of peaceful rebellion? Even when the authorities painted over the graffiti, the people came back the next day with more art. Street art in Prague has always been about having a voice! 🎤
