Is the graffiti workshop safe for people with physical disabilities?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide all participants with high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. Our artist-mentors are trained to supervise the session closely, ensuring everyone uses the spray cans correctly. We also choose well-ventilated outdoor spots or spacious indoor studios in St Gallen to ensure a comfortable and safe breathing environment for everyone involved.

How do you adapt the workshop for different types of special needs?

We believe in 'art for all', so we adapt our teaching style to fit the needs of the group. For those with sensory sensitivities, we can offer lower-pressure cans that make less noise or focus on 'silent' techniques. For those with limited mobility, we set up canvases at accessible heights. Just let us know your specific requirements beforehand, and we will tailor the experience to ensure everyone feels included.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard special needs session in St Gallen usually lasts between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This time includes a safety briefing, a demonstration of basic techniques, practice time, and the creation of a final masterpiece. We find this duration is the 'sweet spot'—long enough to get creative and learn new skills, but short enough to maintain high energy and focus levels without causing fatigue.

What materials are included in the workshop price?

We provide everything you need to become a street artist for the day! This includes a wide range of professional spray paint colours, protective clothing (overalls, gloves, masks), and the surfaces to paint on (usually large boards or canvases). You don't need to bring any supplies at all—just bring your enthusiasm and wear some clothes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on!

Do participants need to have any previous drawing or art skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our professional graffiti artists will guide everyone through the process step-by-step, starting with simple lines and moving onto more complex shapes and filling techniques. We focus on the joy of creation rather than technical perfection, ensuring that every participant leaves feeling proud of what they have achieved, regardless of their prior artistic experience.

Can you host the workshop at our own facility in St Gallen?

Yes, we do! If you have a specific location in St Gallen that is already accessible and comfortable for your group—like a community centre or a school hall—we can bring the entire workshop to you. We use protective floor coverings and low-odour paints where necessary to ensure your venue remains clean. Alternatively, we can host you at one of our pre-approved local street art spots.

Local culture

St Gallen is known for its stunning Abbey and rich history, but it also has a pulse of modern urban creativity. From the alleyways near the city centre to the vibrant energy of the 'Lattich' area, street art is beginning to bloom in our corner of Switzerland. Our workshops bring this contemporary culture to the special needs community, bridging the gap between traditional Swiss precision and raw, urban expression. ✨

Fun Fact: St Gallen is famous for its 111 ornate oriel windows. While those are historical masterpieces, we like to think our participants' graffiti artworks are the modern masterpieces that add even more colour to the city's character! 🏔️

Pricing
