Our workshops are led by professional artists who supervise the use of spray cans at all times. We also use low-solvent or water-based paints where possible, ensuring a creative environment that is both fun and safe for younger artists.

What happens if it rains during the summer camp session?

The Eternal City has fantastic weather, but if it happens to pour down, we have you covered. We work with several indoor creative studios and covered urban spaces across Rome to ensure the summer camp fun never stops. If the weather looks particularly bad, we will coordinate with you to move the session to one of our rain-proof locations or reschedule for a sunnier day. The creativity keeps flowing regardless!

Do the kids need any previous drawing or painting experience?

Absolutely! The beauty of street art is that it’s accessible to everyone. Our instructors specialise in teaching 'from scratch.' We start with basic lines and shapes before moving on to more complex techniques like shading and 3D effects. Most kids are amazed at what they can produce in just a couple of hours. It’s all about the process and having a great time, not perfection.

What should the children wear to the workshop?

We recommend that participants wear comfortable, older clothes and closed-toe shoes. While we provide full-body protective overalls, graffiti can be a messy business, and it’s always better to be safe! While we have several 'hall of fame' walls and creative spots around Rome that we love to use, we can also bring the workshop to your specific summer camp location if you have a suitable outdoor space. We bring all the mobile boards and materials, transforming your playground or courtyard into a temporary street art gallery for the day. Just let us know your preference!
