Do I need prior graffiti experience to join the art teacher training?

Absolutely! While we love working with seasoned art educators, this training is open to anyone in the Cali area who wants to master the technical side of graffiti. Whether you are a community leader or a freelance creative, we provide the foundational skills you need. Our goal is to ensure you feel confident holding a spray can and explaining the chemistry and technique behind it to your own future students.

How do you handle safety during the training sessions?

Safety is our number one priority. In this training, we teach you how to set up a professional-grade ventilated space, the correct way to wear high-quality respirators, and how to manage large groups of students with sharp spray cans safely. You will learn the 'Graffitifun Safety Standards' which are designed to keep both the artists and the environment protected, making it easy to implement in any school setting.

How long does the teacher training session last?

Our training is quite comprehensive and usually lasts between 3 to 4 hours for the intensive version. This gives us enough time to cover everything from the history of Cali's street art to practical 'can control' and administrative tips for running your own workshops. If you're looking for a multi-day deep dive, we can certainly arrange that too! Just let us know your schedule and we will make it work.

Are all the materials included in the training price?

Yes, we provide every single thing you need! This includes a wide range of professional spray paint colours, various nozzles (caps) for different effects, high-grade protective overalls, gloves, and professional masks. We also provide the canvases or wall space for practice. You just need to show up in some comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on!

Do I get any resources to take home after the training?

We provide a digital 'Teacher Toolkit' after the session. This includes lesson plan templates, a guide to different graffiti styles, and a list of recommended local suppliers in Colombia for paint and gear. We also offer ongoing support—if you're about to lead your first solo workshop in Cali and have a quick question about surface preparation, our expert artists are just a message away to help you out.

Can I use this training to start a graffiti programme at my school?

Definitely! Many of our trainees are art teachers looking to add urban art to their official curriculum. Graffiti is a fantastic way to engage students with colour theory, typography, and self-expression. We show you how to frame graffiti as a legitimate and powerful art form within an educational framework, helping you navigate any questions from school boards or parents while keeping your students absolutely thrilled.
