Do I need any previous graffiti experience to join the training?

Absolutely no prior experience with spray paint is required! Our teacher training is designed to take you from a complete beginner to a confident instructor. We focus on the fundamental techniques, safety protocols, and pedagogical approaches needed to teach others. You'll learn how to handle the cans, manage a classroom setting, and guide students through their own creative journeys in a supportive environment.

How long does the professional development session last?

The training session typically lasts between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the specific curriculum and group size. This timeframe allows us to cover both the theoretical aspects of street art history and the hands-on practical skills. We ensure there is plenty of time for you to practice your techniques and ask our professional artists detailed questions about classroom management.

What materials are included in the teacher training package?

We provide everything you need to get started! This includes high-quality spray paint cans in a variety of colours, protective masks, gloves, overalls, and practice surfaces. We also provide educational hand-outs and digital resources that you can use in your own future lessons. You just need to bring your enthusiasm and wear clothes you don't mind getting a bit of paint on!

Is the graffiti training safe for an educational environment?

Safety is our number one priority, especially in an educational context. We use low-pressure cans that are easier to control and provide high-quality respirators and gloves. During the training, we specifically teach you how to set up a safe workshop environment for your students, covering ventilation, proper equipment usage, and how to manage a group of kids or teens safely.

Can I apply these skills to other areas of the curriculum?

Yes! While we focus on the art of graffiti, these workshops are fantastic for building confidence, encouraging creative problem-solving, and fostering teamwork. You will learn how to help students find their unique 'voice' through art, which is a transferable skill applicable to many other subjects. It's a great way to engage students who might struggle with traditional academic formats.

Where in Novo Mesto do the training sessions take place?

We are incredibly flexible and can host the training at your school in Novo Mesto or at a local outdoor space. If you don't have a suitable wall, we can bring mobile wooden panels or cellophane 'walls' to create a pop-up studio anywhere. This adaptability makes it easy for schools and community centres across Slovenia to host a session without needing permanent infrastructure.

How do I book a session for my department or school?

Booking is simple! You can use our online cost calculator to get an instant estimate, or simply send us an enquiry through our contact form. We don't require any upfront payment – you only pay after the workshop is complete. Our team will coordinate with you to find a date that fits your school's professional development schedule perfectly.
