How long does a typical company graffiti workshop last?

The standard team building workshop in Mechelen typically lasts between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This includes the initial briefing, technique practice, and the creation of your final masterpiece. We can also adapt the timing to fit into a tighter corporate schedule or extend it for a more comprehensive creative deep-dive if your team really wants to get stuck in!

Can the workshop take place at our own office in Mechelen?

Ideally, we host these sessions at one of our vibrant outdoor street art locations in Mechelen to give you the most authentic experience. However, if you prefer to stay at your office or a specific event venue, we can set up mobile canvases and protective flooring. We just need a well-ventilated space or an outdoor courtyard to ensure everyone stays safe and comfortable.

What should our team wear for the graffiti session?

Don't worry about your suits or dresses! We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and shoe covers for every participant. That said, we always recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothes you wouldn't mind getting a tiny speck of paint on, just in case. Our professional-grade spray cans are high-pressure, so it’s better to be safe and comfortable while you create.

Can we create one large piece of art together as a company?

Absolutely! We offer several formats including a 'Mega Canvas' option where the whole team works on a single, massive piece of art, or a 'Puzzle Canvas' where smaller teams create individual sections that lock together at the end. It’s a powerful visual metaphor for how individual efforts contribute to a larger company goal. Plus, it looks amazing in a lobby!

Why should we choose Graffitifun over other event providers?

We pride ourselves on flexibility and reliability. Unlike freelance artists who might cancel last minute, Graffitifun has a dedicated team and backup artists on standby. You don't have to pay anything upfront; you only pay after the workshop is completed to your satisfaction. We handle all the logistics, from premium materials to protective gear, so you can focus on your team.

What if some team members aren't 'artistic' or creative?

No artistic talent is required! Our professional artists are expert instructors who break down complex techniques into simple, manageable steps. We've seen 'non-creatives' from finance and IT departments produce incredible work that they’re genuinely proud of. It’s all about the process, the laughs, and discovering a hidden skill you didn't know you had.

Is there a maximum group size for company events in Mechelen?

We can accommodate groups of almost any size! From intimate executive teams of 10 to large-scale corporate outings of over 100 people, we scale our staff and materials accordingly. For very large groups, we often set up multiple 'stations' or work on a collaborative mural project to ensure everyone is active and engaged throughout the entire session.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Mechelen is a city that perfectly blends tradition with a modern, edgy vibe. While it's famous for the St. Rumbold's Cathedral, the city has secretly become a playground for urban artists. From the hidden gems along the Dijle River to the vibrant murals tucked away in the city centre, Mechelen provides the perfect backdrop for a creative getaway. Our workshops often take place near local creative hubs, giving your team a taste of the authentic Belgian underground art scene.

Fun fact: Mechelen is known for the "Maneblussers" (Moon Extinguishers) legend. Why not incorporate some of that local moon-lit history into your graffiti mural? It’s a great way to connect your brand with the spirit of the city! 🌙✨
