Is the graffiti workshop safe for school students?

Absolutely. We prioritise student safety by providing high-quality gloves, masks, and protective suits. All our spray paints are low-odour and compliant with safety standards. Our professional instructors in Aveiro provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can, ensuring a controlled and secure environment for everyone involved.

Where in Aveiro do the workshops take place?

We are incredibly flexible! We can host the workshop at your school premises in Aveiro—whether that's a sports field, car park, or gym—using our mobile plastic walls. Alternatively, we can arrange for the students to visit an authorised street art location or one of our local studio spaces for a more immersive urban experience.

How long does a typical school workshop last?

Our school workshops usually last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This timeframe is perfect as it allows enough time for an introduction to the history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the final creation of a large-scale collective mural without losing the students' focus.

What materials are included in the price?

We provide everything needed for a successful creative session. This includes premium spray cans in a wide variety of colours, caps/nozzles for different effects, protective clothing (suits, gloves, masks), and the canvas or wall materials. Your school doesn't need to worry about any hidden costs or extra supplies.

Do students need any prior drawing or painting skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to budding young artists. Our instructors are experts at breaking down complex mural techniques into simple, manageable steps. We focus on boosting confidence and teamwork rather than requiring prior artistic talent or experience.

Can we create a permanent mural on our school walls?

Yes, we can definitely help! If your school wants to create a permanent piece of art for a hallway or playground, we can facilitate a session where students design and execute a mural on a fixed wall. This is a fantastic way to leave a lasting legacy and brighten up the school environment in Aveiro.

What is the cost per student for the workshop?

Pricing for schools in Aveiro usually ranges from €20 to €45 per student. The final cost depends on the number of participants, the duration of the workshop, and the specific materials chosen. Because every school project is unique, we always recommend requesting a custom quote for the most accurate pricing.

Local culture

Aveiro is a city that thrives on the intersection of tradition and modernity. While the Moliceiro boats tell the story of the past, the city's burgeoning street art scene speaks to its future. Our workshops lean into this local culture, encouraging students to draw inspiration from the colourful houses of Costa Nova or the salt pans of the Ria de Aveiro. By engaging with graffiti in Aveiro, students connect with the local urban landscape in a meaningful way, seeing their city not just as a place to live, but as a blank canvas for positive expression and community storytelling.
