How long does a typical school workshop last?

Most school workshops in Ciudad Juarez last between 2 and 3 hours. This provides the perfect balance of theory, practice, and final creation without losing the students focus. If you have a specific school timetable to stick to, we can easily adapt the session to fit within your lesson blocks or double periods. Just let us know your schedule requirements when booking.

Is the spray paint safe for students to use?

Health and safety is our top priority. We provide high quality gloves and protective masks for every student to ensure a safe environment. We also use low odour spray paint wherever possible and always conduct workshops in well ventilated outdoor areas. Our instructors are trained to oversee the group closely, ensuring everyone uses the equipment correctly and stays safe while having fun.

Do the students need any previous art experience?

Not at all. Our workshops are designed for complete beginners. Our professional artists lead the students through a step by step process, starting with basic lines and shapes. You will be amazed at how quickly students who think they are not artistic can create something impressive. It is all about building confidence and teaching the right techniques in a supportive atmosphere.

What should the students wear on the day?

We recommend that students wear old clothes and comfortable shoes that you do not mind getting a bit of paint on. While we do provide protective gear like ponchos or overalls upon request, a few stray dots of paint can sometimes happen in the excitement of creating. It is best to come prepared for a messy, creative, and totally hands on experience.

Where do the workshops actually take place?

We are very flexible. We can come to your school premises in Ciudad Juarez and set up in a car park, sports field, or playground. If you would prefer to take the students on a trip, we can also arrange a session at a local legal graffiti wall or an inspiring urban space. We will handle all the logistics of the location with you beforehand.

How many students can participate in one session?

We can accommodate groups of almost any size. For school classes, we usually recommend a ratio of one artist per 15 to 20 students to ensure everyone gets enough individual attention. For larger year groups or entire school events, we can bring along multiple artists and set up several stations so that every single student gets a chance to participate.

Can the workshop be tailored to a specific school theme?

Our workshops are highly customisable. We can focus on specific educational themes such as local history in Mexico, environmental issues, or school values like teamwork and respect. Many schools find that graffiti is a brilliant medium for exploring modern social topics. Just tell us what your current curriculum focus is, and we will weave those themes into the creative process.
