Is the graffiti workshop safe for school students?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective suits, and gloves for every student. Our professional artists are trained to supervise groups and ensure the spray paint is used responsibly. We usually host these workshops outdoors or in well-ventilated areas to ensure everyone breathes easy while they focus on their masterpiece.🎨

What is the minimum age for participants?

We recommend these workshops for students aged 10 and up. At this age, they have the physical strength to handle the spray cans and the focus to follow the artistic techniques. However, we can adapt our programme for slightly younger groups using water-based markers or simplified stencil techniques if needed. Just let us know the age group when booking!✨

Do students need any prior drawing or painting experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels. Whether a student is a natural-born artist or has never picked up a paintbrush, our instructors guide them through every step. Most students are amazed at what they can create in just two hours. It’s all about building confidence and trying something new in a supportive environment.🔥

How long does a typical school workshop last?

The duration is flexible to fit your school timetable, but most sessions last between 1.5 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a safety briefing, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the final creation of a large-scale mural or individual canvases. We can also run multiple sessions back-to-back for larger year groups.🏆

Where in Trondheim do the workshops take place?

We are very flexible! We can come to your school grounds if you have a suitable outdoor wall or open space. Alternatively, we can arrange for the workshop to take place at a legal street art spot in Trondheim, like the areas around Svartlamon, to give students a truly authentic experience. We’ll work with you to find the perfect location.📍

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything! Your booking includes premium spray cans in a huge range of colours, protective gear (suits, masks, gloves), and the painting surface (plastic film, wooden boards, or canvases). The only thing students need to bring is their enthusiasm and some old clothes and shoes—just in case a little bit of paint finds its way past the suits!💪

Can the workshop be integrated into our specific school curriculum?

Yes, we do! We can tailor the workshop themes to link with your current curriculum. Whether it’s exploring 'Urban Identity' for Social Studies, 'Colour Theory' for Art and Design, or even a historical theme, we can make it happen. Just mention your ideas in the quote request and our artists will help design a lesson plan that fits.🎤

Local culture

Trondheim is a city where history meets innovation, and its street art scene is no different. From the bohemian vibes of Svartlamon to the hidden murals tucked away in the Bakklandet alleyways, the city is a canvas waiting to be explored. Our workshops draw inspiration from this unique local atmosphere, encouraging students to look at their city through a fresh, artistic lens.

Fun Fact: Trondheim is home to Svartlamon, Norway's first "urban experiment" district, which is famous for its legal graffiti walls and alternative cultural scene! 🏗️🎨

By bringing our street art workshops to your school, we help bridge the gap between traditional Norwegian education and contemporary urban art, making culture accessible to every student in Trøndelag. ✨

Pricing

We offer competitive pricing for educational institutions in Trondheim to make sure street art is accessible to as many students as possible.

Please note that final costs depend on the number of participants, the duration of the workshop, and whether we are working on a communal mural or individual canvases. We don't require upfront payments—you only pay after the masterpiece is finished!
