Are the workshops accessible for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility?

Absolutely! Our special needs workshops in Trondheim are designed for everyone, regardless of physical or cognitive ability. We provide adjustable equipment and a supportive environment to ensure everyone feels included. Each session is tailored to the specific needs of your group, ensuring a safe and comfortable space where the focus is entirely on creative expression and having a great time together.

What safety measures are in place during the session?

Safety is our biggest priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls to keep everyone clean and safe. Our professional artists are trained to supervise the use of spray cans closely. We also use low-odour, high-quality paints wherever possible. We constantly monitor the environment to ensure it remains a stress-free and secure space for all our participants.

Do participants need to have any previous art experience?

No artistic experience is needed at all! Many of our participants have never held a spray can before. Our friendly Trondheim artists will guide you through every single step, from basic spraying techniques to creating your first masterpiece. The goal isn't to create 'perfect' art, but to enjoy the process of playing with colours and expressing your unique personality through street art.

What is the minimum or maximum group size for a workshop?

We are very flexible with group sizes. Whether you are a small support group of 5 people or a larger community organisation with 30+ participants, we can accommodate you. For larger groups, we bring in additional backup artists to ensure that everyone receives enough individual attention and support. This keeps the experience personal and ensures no one feels overwhelmed or left out.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard special needs workshop in Trondheim usually lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. This provides enough time to learn the basics and complete a project without it becoming too tiring. However, we can easily adjust the duration based on your group's energy levels and attention spans. We always work at a pace that feels comfortable for the participants, never rushing the creative process.

How do we book a workshop and when do we pay?

Booking is simple and stress-free! You can use our online cost calculator for a quick estimate, or just send us a request via our contact form. We don't require any upfront payment—you only pay after the workshop is complete. Once we've chatted about your group's specific requirements and picked a date, we handle all the logistics so you can simply turn up and enjoy!

What should participants wear to the workshop?

We usually recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on. While we provide full protective overalls, gloves, and masks, it's always best to be prepared. If the workshop is outdoors, please dress according to the Trondheim weather! We provide everything else, including all the paint, boards or canvases, and artistic tools needed for the day.

Local culture

Trondheim has a rich history of supporting inclusive arts, and we are proud to add to that vibrant tapestry. From the colourful wharves of Bakklandet to the modern spray-painted murals popping up in the city's creative hubs, there's inspiration around every corner. Our workshops often take inspiration from the Nidelva river's flow and the crisp Norwegian light.

Fun fact: Trondheim was Norway's first capital city, and today it remains a leader in innovation and social inclusion—making it the perfect backdrop for your creative journey!

We work with local venues across the city to ensure our workshops are held in accessible, welcoming locations that reflect the spirit of Trondheim. Whether you're local or visiting from nearby Oslo or Bergen, you'll find a warm welcome here.
