Is the spray paint safe for participants with sensitivities?

Absolutely! We use high-quality, water-based spray paint options and provide full protective gear, including suits, gloves, and masks. Our instructors in Fredrikstad are trained to supervise the session closely, ensuring everyone uses the equipment correctly. Safety is our top priority, and we create a controlled environment where participants can focus entirely on their creative expression without any worries.

Can you host the workshop at our own facility in Fredrikstad?

We are incredibly flexible. Our workshops can be held at various outdoor locations in Fredrikstad or at your own facility if space allows. We bring all the necessary protective floor coverings and boards to ensure your venue stays clean. Whether it is a community centre, a school hall, or a local park, we adapt the setup to meet the specific accessibility needs of your group.

Do participants need any prior artistic experience?

Not at all! Our Special Needs Program is designed for all skill levels. Our artists are experts at breaking down the process into simple, manageable steps. We focus on the joy of movement and the satisfaction of seeing bright colours appear on the canvas. It is about the experience and the 'doing', rather than achieving a 'perfect' result. Everyone leaves with something they are proud of.

How long does a typical special needs session last?

A standard workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. This timeframe is ideal as it provides enough time to learn and create without becoming overly tiring. However, we are happy to adjust the duration based on the attention spans and energy levels of your specific group. We can include more frequent breaks or simplify the steps to ensure everyone stays engaged and happy throughout.

What is the ideal group size for this program?

For our special needs sessions, we recommend smaller groups to ensure everyone gets the dedicated support they need. Ideally, we look at a ratio of one artist to about 10-12 participants, but we can cater to larger groups by bringing in additional backup artists. This ensures that no one is left waiting and everyone receives personal encouragement and technical help from our professional team.

How do we book and what are the costs?

Getting a quote is easy! Since every group has different requirements regarding support, location, and materials, we provide bespoke pricing. Simply head to our pricing section and click the 'Request a custom quote' button. We offer competitive rates ranging from kr300 to kr650 per person, and the best part is you only pay after the workshop is successfully completed.

Local culture

Fredrikstad is a city that breathes history and creativity, from the cobblestone streets of Gamlebyen (The Old Town) to the modern, industrial vibes along the Glomma river. This unique blend of old and new makes it the perfect backdrop for a graffiti workshop. The city has a growing appreciation for urban culture, and we love bringing that modern energy to the local community. Did you know? Fredrikstad was Norway's first 'Renaissance city,' and today, its spirit of rebirth continues through the vibrant street art popping up in various districts! 🎨

Fun Fact: Fredrikstad is home to the most fortified town in Northern Europe, but today, the only things we're 'attacking' are blank canvases with bursts of neon paint! 🏰✨
