How it works

Initial consultation: Reach out to us with your event date and location in Lubumbashi. We will chat about your vision and the vibe you want to create.
Concept design: Our artists will sketch out a concept or digital mockup based on your theme, logos, or brand colours for your approval.
Logistics planning: We coordinate the arrival time, surface requirements (canvas or wall), and safety measures tailored to your specific venue.
On-site setup: On the day, we arrive early to set up our 'mobile studio', including protective floor covers and the painting surface.
The performance: As your guests arrive, our artist starts the piece. People can watch the layers, techniques, and details evolve in real-time.
Guest engagement: Our artists are friendly! They will answer questions from curious onlookers and explain the street art culture.
The final reveal: The artwork is completed towards the end of your event, providing a high-impact 'wow' moment for all attendees.
Drying and handover: We ensure the piece is dry and ready for you to keep, then we pack up our gear, leaving the space exactly as we found it.

Frequently asked questions

Is live painting safe for indoor events in Lubumbashi?

Absolutely! We use high-quality spray paints and markers designed for professional use. If your event is indoors in Lubumbashi, we can use low-odour, water-based spray cans or acrylic markers to ensure there are no fumes. We also provide protective flooring and screens to keep the venue spotless while the art comes to life. Safety and cleanliness are always our top priorities.

How long does a live painting performance typically last?

The creation process usually takes between 2 to 5 hours, depending on the scale and detail of the artwork. We can tailor the pace to match your event schedule, ensuring the big reveal happens at the perfect moment. Whether it is a quick brand launch or an all-day festival in the Copperbelt, our artists manage their time perfectly so the audience stays engaged.

What happens to the artwork after the event ends?

Usually, the client keeps the masterpiece! It serves as a fantastic memento of the event or a unique piece of decor for your office or home. If you are a business, it is a great branding asset. We can paint on stretched canvases or mobile wooden panels that are easy to transport and hang once the paint has dried.

Can we choose the theme or logo for the artist to paint?

We are totally flexible! Our artists can recreate a specific company logo, follow a particular colour palette, or freestyle based on a theme like 'The Future of Lubumbashi'. During the booking process, we will discuss your vision and create a concept that aligns perfectly with your event goals and brand identity. We love turning your ideas into spray-painted reality.

What kind of space and setup do you require at the venue?

Ideally, we need a flat space of about 3x3 metres and good lighting so guests can see the progress. If the event is outdoors, a shaded area is preferred to keep the artist and materials cool. We bring all our own dropsheets, boards, and paint. All we need from you is the 'stage' and an enthusiastic audience ready to be amazed!

Can guests participate in the painting process?

While our live painting is primarily a performance, we can certainly include an interactive element where guests add a few strokes or 'tag' a specific area under the artist's guidance. If you want a more hands-on experience for everyone, you might also consider our brand activation or company event workshops where everyone gets a can!
