Frequently asked questions

Can you host the workshop at our specific university campus?

Absolutely! While we love hosting sessions at local Bogota campuses, we are fully mobile. If your student group has a specific off-campus venue or a private courtyard in mind, we can bring all the paint and protection there. We just need a well-ventilated space and permission from the property owner to get creative on the walls.

Do students need any previous art experience to participate?

No prior artistic talent is required. Our professional artists are experts at teaching complete beginners. We start with the basics of nozzle control and simple lines before moving on to more complex designs. You will be amazed at what your group can achieve in just a couple of hours with the right guidance and high-quality spray cans.

What kind of protective gear do you provide?

We provide everything you need to stay clean and safe. This includes high-quality respiratory masks, protective suits (overalls), and gloves. However, we always recommend that students wear comfortable, older clothes and shoes just in case. Since we use professional-grade aerosols, a little bit of 'battle dust' is always a possibility during the creative process!

How long does a typical university graffiti session last?

A standard university workshop usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This gives everyone enough time to learn the techniques, sketch their ideas, and complete a large-scale mural. We can adjust the timing to fit into a specific lecture gap or make it a full-day event for university festivals or student union 'welcomers' weeks.

Is the spray paint safe for students to use?

Safety is our number one priority. We use low-odour professional spray paint and provide all necessary PPE, including FFP2 or FFP3 masks. Our artists are trained in site safety and ensure that the workshop area remains tidy and professional. We also ensure proper ventilation and provide thorough safety briefings before anyone touches a spray can.

What is the cost for a large student society group?

Our pricing is flexible and depends on the number of participants and the location. In Bogota, prices typically range from $100,000 to $250,000 COP per person. Large student societies or departments often qualify for group discounts. The best way to get an accurate price is to contact us for a custom quote tailored to your university's specific needs.

Is this workshop suitable for academic department team-building?

We find that many departments use our workshops for team building or as a practical exploration of urban culture and sociology. It is a fantastic way to break down social barriers between different year groups or faculties. Plus, it serves as a great mental health break from the rigours of academic study and exam stress.
