Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should our student society book a workshop?

While we do welcome walk-ins if space permits, we highly recommend booking your Varna university workshop at least 2-4 weeks in advance. This is especially important for larger student groups or during the busy Bulgarian summer season. Booking ahead ensures we have enough professional artists and high-quality spray cans ready for your specific date and time, and it allows us to tailor the session to your group's creative goals.

Do we need any prior art experience to participate?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from those who can't draw a stick figure to fine arts students. Our pro artists guide you through every step, starting with basic lines and moving into complex shading. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the professional-looking mural you've helped create. It's all about the experience, the music, and the fun of trying something completely new with your friends.

Is the graffiti workshop safe and what protective gear is provided?

Safety is our big priority here in Varna. We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and professional masks to ensure no one goes home with paint on their clothes or lungs. We use low-odour, professional-grade spray paint. Our artists provide a full safety briefing before anyone touches a can, and we always work in well-ventilated outdoor areas or dedicated street art zones to keep the vibe fresh and safe.

Can we get a student discount for large university groups?

We understand student budgets can be tight, which is why we offer flexible pricing based on your group size. Generally, the larger the group, the lower the price per person. Prices in Varna typically range between лв40 and лв90 per student. This is an all-inclusive price covering all paints, gear, and the artist's time. We don't require upfront payments, so you can organise your group without financial stress!

What happens if it rains on the day of our outdoor workshop?

Varna's weather is usually amazing, but if it does pour, we have backup plans! We can often move the workshop to a covered outdoor area or an indoor space with proper ventilation. Alternatively, we can reschedule to another day that suits your university schedule. Because we have multiple artists on standby, we are very flexible with timing. We make sure your 'Sea Capital' street art experience happens no matter what.

Can we choose a specific theme for our graffiti mural?

Absolutely! Whether you want to focus on a specific theme like 'Marine Life' to celebrate Varna's coastal identity, or create an piece for a specific university event, we can adapt. Our artists can pre-sketch a concept based on your ideas, or we can let the group brainstorm and design the piece from scratch on the day. It's a fantastic way to build team spirit and create something unique to your student cohort.
