I've never painted before, can I still do a 3D street art workshop?

Absolutely not! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from complete beginners to those with some drawing skills. Our professional artists will guide you through the basics of perspective and shading step-by-step. You'll be surprised at how quickly you can create a convincing 3D effect on a flat surface. We focus on fun and learning, ensuring you leave with a piece of art you're proud of. 🎨

Is the workshop safe for participants?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide all necessary protective gear, including high-quality FFP2 face masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep your clothes clean. We use professional-grade spray paints and ensure all sessions are held in well-ventilated areas. Our instructors are trained to manage the equipment safely and provide constant supervision throughout the entire workshop in Warri. 🛡️

How long does the workshop session last?

A standard 3D street art workshop usually lasts between 2 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for an introduction to the history of street art, a safety briefing, sketch design, and the actual painting process. If you have a specific timeframe in mind for a company event or festival in Warri, we can adjust the duration to fit your schedule perfectly! ⏱️

Where exactly in Warri does the workshop take place?

We bring the workshop to you! We can host the session at your office, a school yard, a local community center, or any outdoor space with permission. If you don't have a location, don't worry—we have access to several 'legal walls' and creative spaces around Warri where we can paint freely. We just need a flat ground or wall surface to create our 3D magic. 📍

What do I need to bring for the session?

Everything is included in the price! We provide the spray cans in a wide range of colors, caps (nozzles), protective gear, and the surfaces to paint on (unless we are painting a permanent wall). You just need to show up wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little paint on, and bring plenty of creative energy! We handle all the setup and cleanup. ✨

Do I need to pay in advance?

One of the best things about booking with Graffitifun is our 'pay after' policy. You don't need to make any upfront payments to secure your date. We believe in the quality of our service and want you to be 100% satisfied. After the workshop is complete and you've had a blast, we'll handle the payment details. It’s completely risk-free for you! 💰

What happens if it rains or the artist is sick?

Warri weather can be unpredictable, but we’ve got you covered. In case of rain, we can move the workshop to a covered outdoor area or an indoor space using low-odor water-based paints if necessary. We also have a large pool of backup artists, so even if an instructor is unwell, your event will still go ahead as planned. We guarantee your workshop won't be cancelled! ⛈️

The experience

Why settle for a boring day out when you can dive into the world of urban creativity? Our 3D street art workshops are the most exciting way to bond and learn a new skill in Warri. Here is why you should join us: 🚀

Unique Perspective: Learn the specific mathematical tricks used to create illusions that "pop" off the ground. 📐
Teamwork Redefined: Nothing brings a team together like collaborating on a massive, shared piece of street art.
Insta-Worthy Results: Your photos with the 3D art will be the highlight of your social media feed for weeks! 📸
Professional Guidance: Learn from the best artists in Nigeria who live and breathe graffiti culture.
Stress Relief: There is something incredibly therapeutic about the hiss of a spray can and the flow of colors. ✨
All-Inclusive: We handle everything—from masks to paint—so you can just focus on the fun.

Step by step

Introduction & Safety: We start with a brief history of street art and a full safety briefing. We hand out masks, gloves, and suits to keep everyone safe and clean. 🛡️
The 3D Concept: Our artist explains the "Anamorphosis" technique—the secret behind making flat art look like it's jumping off the ground.
Sketching the Vision: You'll grab some paper and pencils to plan your design, focusing on perspective lines and where the "viewer" will stand.
Outlining on the Surface: Using light spray colors, we'll transfer your sketch to the large-scale surface, setting the foundation for the 3D effect. ✍️
Layering Colors: This is where the fun begins! You'll learn how to handle the spray can to fill in large areas and start building depth.
The Magic of Shading: We teach you how to use shadows and highlights. This is the most crucial step to make your 3D art look realistic. 🌓
Adding Details: Use different "caps" to add fine lines, textures, and those final pops of color that make the art truly unique.
The Photo Op: We find the exact "sweet spot" angle and take photos of you interacting with your 3D creation. It looks incredible on camera! 📸
Cleanup & Wrap-up: We pack up all the materials and leave the site clean, while you walk away with amazing memories and new skills.

Local culture

Warri is a city known for its bold energy, unique pidgin, and undeniable hustle. We bring that same "Warri no dey carry last" spirit to our 3D street art sessions. Street art in Nigeria is evolving fast, moving from simple tags to complex murals that tell a story. In Warri, we love to incorporate local themes into our work—whether it's the legendary culture of the Niger Delta or the industrial vibe of the city. We often paint near vibrant hubs where the community can engage with the art. 🏙️

Fun Fact: Did you know that 3D street art, also known as pavement art, dates back to 16th-century Italy? The artists were called "Madonnari" because they often painted pictures of the Madonna! In Warri, we modernize this ancient craft with high-pressure spray cans and contemporary Naija style. 🇳🇬
