Is the graffiti workshop safe for school students in Warri?

Safety is our number one priority for school groups! We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. Our artists use low-pressure spray cans that are easier for students to control, and we always conduct our workshops in well-ventilated outdoor areas or high-ceiling spaces. Every session begins with a comprehensive safety briefing to ensure everyone knows how to handle the equipment responsibly while having a blast.

Do students need prior artistic experience to participate?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from those who have never held a spray can to budding young artists. Our professional facilitators guide the students through every step, starting with basic lines and shapes before moving on to more complex techniques. We focus on the process and the joy of creation, ensuring every student feels proud of what they've made by the end of the session.

Can you host the workshop at our school or a specific location?

Flexibility is our middle name! We can bring the entire workshop to your school premises in Warri, provided there is an appropriate outdoor space or a well-ventilated area. Alternatively, we can host your group at one of our local partner creative hubs. We handle all the logistics, including floor protection if we're working on your site, so you can focus on the educational experience for your students.

Can the workshop be tailored to a specific school project or theme?

Absolutely! While we love letting students explore their own creativity, we also offer themed workshops. Whether you want to focus on a particular school subject, a social message like environmental awareness, or a celebration of Nigerian culture and the 'Oil City' spirit, we can tailor the final mural design to align with your curriculum or school values. Just let us know your ideas when booking!

How long does a typical school graffiti session last?

Our standard school workshops typically last between 2 and 3 hours. This allows enough time for the introductory safety talk, art history lesson, practice session, and the creation of the final masterpiece. We can adjust the timing to fit into a double period or a full afternoon activity day depending on your school’s schedule and how deep you want the students to dive into the techniques.

What exactly is included in the price per student?

A standard workshop includes professional artist guidance, all premium spray paint, protective gear (masks and gloves), and the 'canvas' (which could be a large communal board, a wall, or individual canvases). We also bring floor protection and cleaning supplies. Basically, we bring the entire art studio to you! There are no hidden fees, and you only pay after the workshop is successfully completed.

What is the minimum and maximum group size for a school booking?

We recommend a minimum group size of 10 students to keep the energy high and the costs effective. For larger groups, we can accommodate up to 100+ students by bringing in additional professional artists to ensure every student gets personal attention. We maintain a high artist-to-student ratio so that the learning is focused and everyone stays safe while they explore their creativity.

Local culture

Warri, the legendary "Oil City," is a place where energy meets grit and soul. From the bustling markets to the unique Waffi spirit, this city knows how to express itself! We channel that local "Warri no dey carry last" attitude into every workshop, encouraging students to be bold and unapologetic with their art. Street art in Delta State is a growing movement, and we love showing students how they can contribute to their local culture in a positive, creative way. ⚓

Fun Fact: Did you know that Warri's unique pidgin English is considered one of the most expressive in Nigeria? We often encourage students to incorporate local slang and "Waffi" vibes into their graffiti tags to truly represent their home! 🎤
