Our workshops are perfect for students aged 8 to 18! We tailor our teaching style based on the age group present. For younger kids, we focus more on simple shapes and safety, while older teens get to dive deep into complex lettering, 3D effects, and the history of the South African street art scene. Everyone gets to express themselves at their own level.

Is it safe for children to use spray cans?

Safety is our number one priority! We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep clothes clean. Our spray paints are selected for low toxicity, and we always conduct our workshops in well-ventilated outdoor areas or large open spaces. Plus, our professional artists are trained to supervise the students closely throughout the entire creative process.

Do the kids need any prior art experience?

Absolutely none! That’s the beauty of graffiti—everyone can do it. Our workshops are designed to take students from 'zero to hero' in a single session. We start with the absolute basics of can control and move up from there. Our expert artists are right there to guide them, ensuring every student walks away feeling like a pro.

How long does a typical workshop session last?

A typical after school session lasts about 2 hours, but we can flex between 1.5 and 3 hours depending on your school's schedule. This gives us enough time for a brief intro, a demo from our lead artist, plenty of practice time on the 'practice wall', and the final creation of their own masterpiece to show off!

Where do the workshops take place in Cape Town?

We bring the art to you! We usually host these workshops directly at the school premises—on a sports field, in a courtyard, or against a designated wall. If your school doesn't have a suitable space, don't worry! We have access to several awesome legal street art spots across Cape Town and can help arrange a location that works for everyone.

What materials are included in the price?

We provide everything! Your booking includes premium spray paint in a rainbow of colours, caps (nozzles), protective gear (masks, gloves, suits), and the surfaces to paint on. We can paint on large plastic film (wrap), wooden boards, or even canvases that the kids can take home. Cape Town schools just need to provide the space and the enthusiastic students!

Do we need to pay anything upfront to book?

We understand that school schedules can be tricky. That’s why we offer a 'no upfront payment' policy. You can book your date and confirm the details, and payment is only settled after the workshop is complete. Introduction & Safety: We start with a high-energy intro to graffiti culture and a vital safety briefing on how to use the gear correctly.
Mastering the Can: Students learn 'can control'—how to hold the spray, how far to stand, and how to control pressure for different effects.
Tagging Basics: Every artist needs a name! We help students develop their own 'tag' or signature style on paper first.
