Do the students need any previous art experience?

No prior experience is necessary! Our Sliven graffiti workshops are designed specifically for beginners. Our professional artists will guide you through every step, from holding the spray can correctly to mastering advanced shading techniques. We focus on 'learning by doing' in a supportive, fun environment where every student can feel like a pro by the end of the session. ✨

Is the activity safe for children and teenagers?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits for every participant. Our spray paints are selected for their safety standards, and our instructors are trained to manage groups in a controlled, outdoor, or well-ventilated indoor environment. We ensure everyone follows strict safety protocols while having the time of their lives! 🛡️

What do we need to bring to the workshop?

Everything is included! We provide the spray cans in a huge variety of vibrant colours, caps (nozzles), protective gear (suits, masks, gloves), and the surfaces to paint on. We also bring professional sketches and inspiration boards. Students just need to wear comfortable old clothes and shoes that they don't mind getting a little 'colourful' just in case. 🎨

What kind of surfaces do the students paint on?

We use a variety of surfaces! Depending on the specific arrangement, we might use large wooden panels, mobile cellophane walls stretched between pillars (a very popular eco-friendly method), or even canvas boards that students can take home. We ensure there is plenty of space for everyone to express themselves on a grand scale. 🧱

How long does a typical after-school graffiti session last?

A standard after-school session in Sliven typically lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This timeframe allows enough room for a safety briefing, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the final creation of a large-scale mural. We can adjust the duration to fit into your school's specific extracurricular timetable. ⏰

What happens if an instructor is unavailable?

Absolutely! We have a large team of professional artists across Bulgaria. This means we always have backup artists available to cover in case of emergencies, ensuring your event never gets cancelled. Whether you are in Sliven, Sofia, or Burgas, we guarantee a reliable and high-quality experience every single time. ✅

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

We have several options for bad weather. We can move the workshop to a well-ventilated indoor space like a sports hall or garage, or we can use our eco-friendly water-based paints which are virtually odourless. Alternatively, we can reschedule the session to a sunnier day to ensure the best possible experience for the group. 🌧️

Step by step

Safety first: We start by getting everyone suited up in protective gear and explaining how to use the equipment safely.
Master the tech: Learn the secret 'can-control' tricks—how to hold the spray can and use different nozzles for various effects.
Sketching ideas: Grab a marker! We help you translate your imagination onto paper before hitting the big wall.
The first line: It’s time to spray! Students start by outlining their designs on the chosen surface under expert guidance.
Fill and flow: Learn how to fill in large areas evenly and create smooth colour transitions and gradients.
The 3D effect: Our artists show you how to add shadows and highlights to make your graffiti 'pop' off the wall.
Final outlines: Refine the edges and add those sharp details that turn a sketch into a masterpiece.
Tagging: Every artist needs a signature. We'll help you create your own unique tag to finish your work. ✍️
Photos and cleanup: We capture the final mural in photos and handle all the cleanup, leaving only the art behind!

Local culture

Sliven, nestled at the foot of the magnificent Blue Stones (Sinite Kamani), has always been a city of rebels and legends. Our graffiti workshops tap into that same adventurous spirit! We love drawing inspiration from the local landscape—imagine blending the rugged textures of the mountains with modern 'wildstyle' lettering. The creative energy in Sliven is contagious, and we’re proud to add a splash of contemporary street culture to this historic Bulgarian city. 🏔️

Fun Fact: Did you know Sliven is known as the "City of the Hundred Voyvodes" because it was a hub for Bulgarian revolutionaries? Our workshops celebrate that same spirit of independence and bold expression! ⚔️

While Sliven is our current focus, we also host amazing events in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, and Burgas!
