What happens if it rains on the day of our outdoor graffiti party?

Newcastle’s weather can be a bit of a mixed bag! We always monitor the forecast closely before your outdoor party. If rain is looking likely, we have several backup plan options. We can often move the workshop to a sheltered outdoor area or an indoor space nearby. If that's not possible, we’re happy to reschedule your event to a sunnier day so you can spray in style.

Do we need any previous art experience to join in?

Not at all! Our professional graffiti artists are experts at teaching absolute beginners. We’ll show you how to hold the can, control the pressure, and create clean lines from scratch. Whether you’re a natural-born artist or haven't picked up a pen in years, you'll walk away with a piece of art you’re proud of. It’s all about having a crack and enjoying the process!

Is there an age limit for the workshop?

Generally, we recommend our outdoor workshops for ages 6 and up. Younger kids are welcome to join, but they might need a little extra help from a parent to press the spray nozzle. It’s a fantastic activity for families, school groups, and kids' birthday parties. We ensure the environment is safe, fun, and age-appropriate for all our budding street artists.

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective ponchos to keep your clothes clean and your lungs safe. We only use professional-grade spray paint in well-ventilated outdoor areas. Our instructors give a full safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring everyone knows how to handle the equipment responsibly while having a blast.

Can we take our graffiti art home with us?

Absolutely! Depending on the package you choose, you can either paint on a massive shared mural wall or create your own individual masterpiece on a high-quality canvas. If you paint on canvas, you get to take your artwork home with you immediately to show off to your mates. It’s the ultimate souvenir from a legendary day out in Newy.

What should we wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on—just in case! While we provide protective gear like ponchos and gloves, it’s best to leave the designer gear at home. Wear some comfy sneakers too, as you'll be on your feet moving around the 'wall' or canvas while you create your masterpiece.

How long does a typical graffiti workshop last?

Our standard outdoor party workshops usually run for about 1.5 to 2 hours. This gives us plenty of time for the intro, some practice runs, and then the final creation of your main piece. If you’ve got a massive group or want a more intensive deep-dive into street art techniques, we can certainly extend the session to suit your needs.

How do I pay and do I need to pay a deposit?

We make it easy as! You don't have to pay a cent upfront to secure your date. Once the workshop is finished and you’re 100% stoked with the result, we’ll handle the payment. We accept various payment methods and will provide a clear invoice. This 'pay after' policy reflects our confidence that you’re going to have an absolute ripper of a time.
