Is the graffiti workshop safe for children?

Absolutely! We take safety very seriously. We provide high-quality protective gear, including gloves and masks, for every child. Our professional artists supervise the kids throughout the entire session, ensuring they use the spray cans properly. We also use low-odor paints where possible and conduct our workshops in well-ventilated outdoor or indoor spaces in Adama to ensure a fun and risk-free environment for all participants.

What is the minimum age for a birthday party?

Ideally, kids should be at least 6 years old to participate. At this age, they have the motor skills to handle the spray cans comfortably. However, if you have slightly younger siblings attending, we can provide alternative street art tools like paint markers so they don't feel left out. Our workshops are designed to be inclusive and fun for various age groups, making it a perfect fit for a family celebration.

Can we host the workshop at our own home in Adama?

We are very flexible! While we have amazing partner locations around Adama, we can also bring the party to your backyard, a local park, or a rented community space. All we need is a wall or a space where we can set up our mobile canvases. If you're hosting at home, don't worry—we use protective plastic sheets to keep your property clean while the kids create their masterpieces.

How long does a typical birthday workshop last?

The standard birthday workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This includes the initial briefing, practicing basic techniques, and the main event where they create their big collaborative mural or individual pieces. We find this is the 'sweet spot' for keeping energy levels high and kids fully engaged without them getting overwhelmed. We can tailor the duration based on your party schedule.

What materials do we need to provide?

We provide everything needed for a successful street art experience. This includes a wide variety of colorful spray cans, protective clothing (aprons/suits), gloves, masks, and the canvases or boards. You just need to bring the birthday cake, drinks, and the excited kids! We handle the setup and the cleanup of all our materials, leaving you free to enjoy the special day with your family and friends.

Do the kids need to be good at drawing?

The beauty of our workshops is that no prior talent is needed! Our professional graffiti artists are experts at teaching beginners. We start with simple lines and shapes before moving on to cool effects like shadows and highlights. By the end of the session, every child will have contributed to something they are proud of. It’s all about creativity, expression, and having a blast with friends.

How does the payment and cancellation work?

You don't have to pay anything upfront. We trust our clients and want you to be 100% satisfied with the experience first. You can pay the total amount after the workshop is completed. If you need to cancel or reschedule, just let us know as soon as possible. We also have backup artists available to ensure that your child's big day in Adama never gets cancelled due to staff illness.

Step by step

Preparation & Briefing: Our crew arrives early at your Adama location to set up the canvases and gear. We start with a fun intro about the history of graffiti.
Safety First: Every kid gets suited up in protective gear. We explain how to use the spray cans safely and responsibly.
First Lines: Under the guidance of our pros, the kids start by practicing basic strokes and learning how to control the pressure of the spray.
Design Time: The birthday boy or girl gets to lead the theme! We sketch out a large mural or individual pieces based on their favorite colors and ideas.
Filling & Shading: This is where the magic happens. The kids collaborate to fill in the colors, learning how to blend and create cool gradients.
The Outline: Our artists help the kids add the final sharp outlines and highlights to make the artwork really "pop" off the canvas.
Photo Session & Cleanup: We take group photos with the masterpiece. After the fun, we pack up all our materials, leaving the area exactly as we found it.

Local culture

Adama, also widely known as Nazret, is a city pulsing with energy and a unique crossroads of culture in Ethiopia. While it's a major transport and industrial hub, the youthful spirit of the city makes it the perfect backdrop for a modern art form like graffiti. We love bringing our workshops here because the kids in Adama have an incredible sense of rhythm and color that translates perfectly onto the canvas. From the lively vibes along the main highway to the creative energy found in local schools, the city's atmosphere inspires every stroke of the spray can. We often incorporate local colors and symbols into our designs, connecting the global culture of street art with the rich local heritage of the Great Rift Valley region. It's more than just painting; it's about adding a splash of Adama's own vibrant personality to every birthday mural we create.
