Is the graffiti workshop safe for participants with special needs?

Absolutely. Safety is our top priority for every special needs workshop in Adama. We use high-quality spray paint and provide all necessary protective gear, including masks and gloves. Our professional artists are trained to supervise the session closely, ensuring that every participant stays safe while enjoying the sensory experience of creating street art. We also select locations that are accessible and comfortable for everyone involved.

How do you adapt the workshop for different types of disabilities?

We pride ourselves on flexibility. Our graffiti workshops are designed to be inclusive, meaning we adapt our teaching methods to suit different cognitive and physical abilities. Whether it is through simplified techniques, specialized equipment, or one-on-one guidance, we make sure that every participant in Adama feels empowered to express themselves through art, regardless of their specific challenges or background.

How long does a typical workshop session last?

A standard special needs graffiti session usually lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. This timeframe is ideal because it allows enough time for an introduction, creative practice, and completing a masterpiece without leading to overstimulation or fatigue. However, we can always adjust the duration based on the group's specific needs and energy levels to ensure a positive and relaxing experience for everyone.

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We provide everything needed for a successful art session. This includes various colors of spray paint, protective clothing (aprons and gloves), high-quality masks, and the "canvas"—which could be a wall or boards. You don't need to bring any supplies at all. We just recommend that participants wear comfortable clothing and shoes that they don't mind getting a little bit of paint on.

Do participants need to have prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, especially beginners. Our artists guide the group through the very basics of holding a spray can, controlling the pressure, and creating simple shapes. The goal in our Adama sessions is expression and enjoyment rather than technical perfection, making it a stress-free environment for everyone to explore their hidden artistic talents.

Where in Adama do these workshops take place?

We offer great flexibility for our Adama clients. You can choose to have the workshop at a designated local street art spot, or we can bring the entire setup to your location, such as a care center, school, or community hall. As long as there is adequate ventilation and space, we can transform almost any area into a vibrant and safe outdoor or indoor art studio.

How do I book a workshop and what are the payment terms?

Booking is simple and risk-free. You can reach out to us via our contact form to discuss your group's size and specific needs. We do not require any upfront payment; you only pay after the workshop is successfully completed. Plus, we always have backup artists available to ensure your event goes ahead as planned, even if an emergency arises.
