How long does a typical communion graffiti workshop last?

Most Birmingham communion graffiti workshops last between 90 minutes and 2 hours. This provides the perfect window of time for everyone to learn the basic techniques, practice their can control, and complete their final masterpiece without the younger guests losing focus. We can adjust the timing to fit perfectly between your celebratory meal and other planned festivities.

Is the activity safe for children and guests?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and specialized masks for every participant. Our professional artists are trained in site safety and supervise every spray to ensure a clean and secure environment. For indoor venues in the West Midlands, we use low-odour water-based cans to keep the air fresh and comfortable for your guests.

Do we need any previous artistic experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are specifically designed for beginners of all ages. Our friendly artists guide the group through every step, from holding the can correctly to creating sophisticated effects like shadows and shines. We make sure every child (and adult!) feels like a pro by the time they finish their artwork, regardless of their prior artistic experience.

Can the workshop be held at our own party venue in Birmingham?

We pride ourselves on being flexible. While we have stunning outdoor locations near the Digbeth creative quarter, we can also bring the workshop to your garden, a hired community hall, or your party venue. If we are working indoors, we take extensive measures to protect the flooring and walls, ensuring the only thing that gets painted is the canvas or designated board.

What is the ideal age range for the participants?

We recommend a minimum age of 6 or 7 to ensure they have the hand strength to activate the spray nozzles comfortably. However, younger siblings are always welcome to join in with a little help from our artists or their parents. It truly is a multi-generational activity that brings the whole family together during the communion celebration.

Can we choose a specific theme for the artwork?

Absolutely! We encourage the 'star of the day' to choose a theme, a favourite colour palette, or even a specific word or name they want the group to focus on. Customising the workshop makes the communion party feel even more personal. Whether it is a vibrant name mural or a series of individual canvases, we tailor the session to your vision.

Promotes confidence: Seeing a blank board transform into art gives children a massive boost in creative confidence.
Reliable service: We have backup artists on standby throughout the West Midlands to ensure your party always goes ahead.
No risk booking: With no deposit required, you can book with total peace of mind.
