How long does the graffiti workshop usually last?

Most of our communion parties in Wexford take about 1.5 to 2 hours. This is the 'sweet spot' where children stay fully engaged and excited without getting tired. We start with a safety briefing and basic techniques, move into practicing on practice walls, and finish with the main event where they create their masterpiece to take home. It fits perfectly between your family meal and evening celebrations.

Is it safe for children celebrating their communion?

Safety is our number one priority! We provide professional-grade respiratory masks, protective overalls, and gloves for every child. We also use high-quality spray paint that is safe when used with our equipment. Our artists are experts at managing groups of kids, ensuring everyone follows the safety rules while having an absolute blast. You can relax knowing the kids are in safe, professional hands.

Where in Wexford can we host the graffiti party?

We are very flexible! We can come to your back garden in Wexford, a rented community hall, or even a hotel carpark (with permission). If you don't have a spot, just let us know and we can help suggest local venues that work well for street art activities. As long as there is a bit of outdoor space or a very well-ventilated area, we can make the magic happen.

Do the kids get to keep what they create?

Absolutely! Each child gets to work on their own high-quality canvas or board. By the end of the session, they’ll have a vibrant piece of street art they created themselves to take home. It’s the ultimate party gift—much better than a standard goody bag! These canvases serve as a wonderful, colourful memento of their special communion day in Wexford.

Do the children need any previous art experience?

No way! The best thing about graffiti is that there are no mistakes, only 'style.' Our artists are fantastic teachers who show the kids simple techniques that yield impressive results immediately. Whether they are naturally artistic or have never held a spray can before, we guarantee they will walk away proud of what they’ve built. It's all about fun and expression.

What is the ideal group size for a communion party?

We recommend a minimum group size of 10 for the best atmosphere, but we can cater to much larger groups as well. If you have a huge extended family with lots of cousins joining the communion celebration, that's no problem at all. We can provide extra artists for larger groups to ensure every child gets plenty of one-on-one guidance and attention.

Do I need to pay a deposit to secure our date in Wexford?

Not at all! One of the biggest perks of booking with Graffitifun is our 'no upfront payment' policy. We believe in our service so much that you only pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% happy with the experience. It takes the stress out of your communion planning. You can book your date today and settle up once the paint has dried!

Local culture

Wexford is a town steeped in heritage, but it's also a place that loves a good celebration! From the colourful streets during the Wexford Opera Festival to the creative vibes at the Arts Centre, there's always an appreciation for visual flair here. Bringing a graffiti workshop to a Wexford communion party adds a modern, edgy twist to a traditional local celebration. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know that Wexford's narrow, winding streets feel like they were almost made for hidden art? While we always keep our workshops legal and on canvases, the spirit of Wexford's "Main Street" energy definitely inspires the kids' designs! 🌊
