How long does a live painting session usually last?

A live painting performance in Varaždin typically lasts between 2 and 5 hours, depending on the scale of the artwork and your event's schedule. We can tailor the speed of the artist to match your keynote speeches or the entire duration of a festival. If you have a multi-day event, we can also arrange for a progressive mural that grows over several days, keeping the excitement building and the audience engaged.

Is the painting process messy or unsafe for indoor events?

Safety is our priority! We use high-quality, low-odour spray paints or water-based acrylic markers depending on the venue. If the event is indoors, we ensure proper ventilation and use drop cloths to protect the floors. For outdoor events in places like King Tomislav Square, we provide all necessary safety barriers and protective gear for the artist, ensuring a clean and professional setup that complies with local safety standards.

What kind of surfaces can you paint on?

The beauty of live painting is its versatility! We can paint on large-scale canvases, movable wooden panels, or even temporary 'shrink-wrap' walls if you want a transparent look. If you have a specific surface in mind—like a vehicle, a shipping container, or a piece of office furniture—just let us know. We love a challenge and can adapt our techniques to almost any surface you provide in Varaždin.

Can we request a specific theme or include our company logo?

Absolutely! Leading up to your Varaždin event, we’ll collaborate with you to incorporate specific logos, brand colours, or themes into the artwork. Whether it's a corporate anniversary or a themed festival, our artists ensure the final piece aligns perfectly with your brand identity. We can even leave 'open spots' in the mural for your VIPs or guests to add a final stroke of paint!

What materials do we need to provide for the artist?

Don't worry about a thing; we bring everything required to create a masterpiece. This includes premium spray cans in a wide range of colours, protective floor coverings, easels or boards, and safety equipment. All we usually need from you is a designated space and, if possible, some good lighting so the crowd can see the magic happen. We handle the entire setup and pack-down process ourselves.

Do we get to keep the artwork after the event ends?

Yes, the completed artwork is yours to keep! Many of our clients in Varaždin choose to display the final canvas in their office lobby, auction it off for charity, or give it away as a grand prize. It serves as a lasting memory of the event and a unique piece of contemporary art. If you need help arranging transport for a large canvas after the event, we can advise on that too.

The experience

Why choose a live painting performance for your Varaždin gathering? It’s the ultimate way to engage your audience and leave a lasting impression. Here’s why it works:

Dynamic entertainment: Unlike a DJ or a band, art is a visual journey that guests can watch unfold at their own pace. 🎤
Instagrammable moments: The process is inherently "shareable," ensuring your event trends on social media immediately. 📸
Memorable takeaway: You end up with a physical piece of art that can hang in your office or be gifted to a special guest. 🏆
Versatile themes: We can adapt our style to anything from 'Old World Baroque' to 'Ultra-Modern Tech' to suit your Varaždin venue. ✨
Zero stress setup: Our professional artists handle everything from floor protection to final cleanup—you just enjoy the show! 💪

Step by step

Initial consultation: Reach out to us with your event date and venue in Varaždin. We’ll discuss your vision and the vibe of your gathering.
Concept design: Our artists create a digital sketch or a mood board based on your theme, ensuring the style matches your brand or party goals.
Logistics planning: We coordinate with your venue manager regarding space, ventilation, and timing to ensure a seamless setup on the day.
Artist arrival: On the day of the event, our team arrives early to set up the 'stage'—covering floors and preparing the canvas or wall.
The performance: As your guests arrive, the artist begins. Watch the transformation from a blank surface to a finished mural in real-time!
Interactive moments: If desired, the artist can engage with guests, explaining the techniques or even letting a few people add a small detail.
Final reveal: The masterpiece is completed, often timed with a climax in your event schedule, providing a perfect photo opportunity.
Tidying up: We pack away all materials, leaving the space as clean as we found it, but with a beautiful new piece of art ready for display.

Local culture

Varaždin is famously known as the "City of Baroque," but beneath its ornate balconies and cobbled streets lies a growing appreciation for contemporary urban culture. Events like the annual Špancirfest have already paved the way for street performance and creative expression in the city's public spaces. Bringing a live painting act to Varaždin creates a brilliant contrast between the historic atmosphere and modern, edgy street art. It’s a way to celebrate the city’s artistic heritage while looking firmly toward the future.

Fun Fact: Did you know Varaždin was once the capital of Croatia? While its history is prestigious, the local youth scene is buzzing with modern creativity, making it the perfect backdrop for a live graffiti performance! 🏰✨
