What exactly happens during a live painting session?

A live painting performance in Karlovac is a dynamic spectacle where our professional artists create a large-scale mural right before your eyes. Whether it's at a local festival near the Korana river or a corporate gala, the artist interacts with the crowd, explains the techniques, and transforms a blank surface into a masterpiece in real-time. It’s visual entertainment that evolves throughout your event, keeping guests curious and engaged.

Is the paint messy or smelly for indoor events?

Not at all! We use low-odour, professional-grade spray paints and acrylics designed for event environments. If your venue is indoors in Karlovac, we ensure proper ventilation and use drop cloths to protect the flooring. Safety is our priority, so we handle all the technical setups while you and your guests focus on enjoying the creative energy and the emerging artwork.

How long does it take to complete the artwork?

The timing is completely flexible to suit your Karlovac event schedule. A typical performance lasts between 2 and 5 hours, but we can stretch it across a two-day festival or condense it for a high-impact 90-minute brand launch. We work with you during the planning phase to ensure the 'big reveal' of the finished piece coincides perfectly with your event's climax.

Can we request a specific theme or include our company logo?

Absolutely! While our artists bring their unique style, we love incorporating your logo, brand colours, or specific themes relevant to your Karlovac gathering. We can even create 'interactive' pieces where guests are invited to add a few strokes under the artist's guidance. This makes the final piece a true reflection of your brand or the specific celebration you are hosting.

What happens to the painting after the event is over?

The canvas choice is yours! We can paint on large mobile wooden walls, stretched canvases, or even temporary film wrapped between pillars. Many of our Karlovac clients choose a canvas that can be kept afterwards—imagine having a custom piece of street art created at your wedding or office party to hang permanently in your space as a lasting memory.

What if the artist is unable to make it on the day?

We’ve got you covered. Graffitifun works with a deep pool of talented back-up artists across Croatia. In the unlikely event that your primary artist falls ill, we have professional reinforcements ready to step in. Your Karlovac event is safe with us; we guarantee that the show will go on with the same high level of quality and professionalism.

Step by step

Initial creative chat: We start by discussing your vision for the Karlovac event, including the theme, location, and the 'vibe' you want to achieve.
Site survey & planning: We determine the best spot for the live painting, ensuring great visibility for guests while managing safety and logistics.
Design conceptualisation: Our artists sketch out a concept that aligns with your requests—whether it’s abstract, urban, or brand-focused.
Setup & protection: On the day, we arrive early in Karlovac to set up the 'stage,' lay down floor protection, and prepare the paints.
The performance begins: As your guests arrive, the artist starts the first layers, drawing the crowd in with bold strokes and vibrant colours.
Interactive engagement: Throughout the session, the artist interacts with onlookers, answering questions about the street art process and techniques.
The finishing touches: As the event reaches its peak, the final details are added, bringing the entire vision to life in a spectacular reveal.
Tear-down & handover: We pack up our gear, leave the space spotless, and hand over the finished masterpiece to you!

Local culture

Karlovac, famously known as the "City of Four Rivers," has a unique urban pulse that perfectly complements the grit and grace of live graffiti art. While the city is steeped in history with its Renaissance star-shaped core, there is a growing appreciation for contemporary expression. Bringing a live painting performance to Karlovac bridges that gap between tradition and the modern "street" aesthetic. Imagine the contrast of vibrant spray paint against the backdrop of the Korana or Mrežnica rivers during a summer event! 🎨

Fun Fact: Karlovac is one of the few cities in the world built in the shape of a perfect six-pointed star—providing a geometric inspiration that many of our artists love to play with during their live sets! 🏗️

Pricing

Every event in Karlovac is unique, so our pricing is flexible to match your needs. Generally, live painting performances range between €20 and €45 per person for interactive sessions, or a flat fee for pure performance based on the artist's profile and mural size.

Because variables like surface size, paint type, and duration change, we recommend getting a tailored estimate. ✨
