Is the graffiti workshop safe for secondary school students?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits for every student. Our artist-instructors are trained to manage groups in outdoor or well-ventilated spaces, ensuring a controlled environment. We use professional-grade spray paint, and our team handles all the setup and cleanup so the school staff can relax and enjoy the creative process along with the students.

How long does a typical session in Zadar last?

Our workshops typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. We find this is the 'sweet spot' for secondary school students to stay fully engaged without getting tired. The first 30 minutes involve sketching and learning techniques, followed by an hour or more of intensive painting. We can easily adjust the duration to fit into your school's specific timetable or double-period slots if required.

Where in Zadar do the workshops take place?

We are completely mobile! We can host the workshop right on your school grounds if you have a suitable wall or if we set up our mobile 'cellophane' walls between pillars or trees. Alternatively, we can arrange for the group to meet at an inspiring street art location in Zadar. We bring all the necessary equipment, including paint, boards, and protective gear, directly to you.

Do students need to have any prior drawing or painting experience?

No prior art skills are needed at all. Our Zadar-based artists are experts at breaking down complex murals into simple, manageable steps. We often find that students who struggle in traditional art classes actually thrive in graffiti because it's more physical and 'rules' are meant to be broken. It’s a fantastic confidence booster for teenagers of all ability levels.

What materials are included in the workshop package?

You won't have to worry about a thing. We provide professional spray cans in a huge variety of colours, protective clothing (suits, gloves, masks), and the surfaces to paint on (either a collective mural or individual canvases). We even bring caps (nozzles) that allow for different line widths. All we suggest is that students wear old shoes just in case of any rogue splashes!

Do we need to pay in advance for the school booking?

We believe in the quality of our workshops, so we don't require any upfront payment. You can book your date and confirm the details, and then pay via invoice after the workshop has been successfully completed. This makes it much easier for school administration and finance departments to process. Your satisfaction is our guarantee before any money changes hands!

What happens if it rains on the day of our workshop?

Zadar weather is usually beautiful, but if it rains, we have backup plans. We can move the session to a covered outdoor area or an indoor space with extreme ventilation. If the weather is truly impossible, our 'backup artist' system and flexible scheduling mean we can usually pivot to an alternative date or location without any stress for the school.

Local culture

Zadar is a city where the ancient and the modern collide—from the sea organ’s haunting melodies to the Roman ruins scattered through the streets. But beyond the marble, there is a pulse of urban creativity waiting to be tapped. Our workshops embrace this 'Zadarski' spirit, blending the city's rich history with the bold, unapologetic energy of modern street art. We often take inspiration from the deep blues of the Adriatic and the vibrant oranges of a Zadar sunset (famously called the best in the world by Hitchcock!).

Fun Fact: Did you know Zadar is home to some of the oldest university traditions in Europe? By bringing graffiti to your school, you're continuing a long local legacy of learning—just with a much cooler, spray-painted twist! 🔥

Whether we are working in the creative hubs of the city or right on your school’s sports pitch, we make sure the local vibe is felt in every spray. We also offer workshops in other Croatian hubs like Zagreb and Split!
