Is the paint used in the Bratislava workshop safe for sensitive individuals?

Absolutely! We use high-quality, water-based spray cans for our indoor and special needs sessions. These produce significantly less odour and fewer fumes than traditional automotive paints, making them much more comfortable for participants with sensory sensitivities or respiratory concerns. We also provide full protective gear, including masks and gloves, to ensure everyone feels safe and protected throughout the creative process in Bratislava.

Are your Bratislava workshop locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes, we pride ourselves on being fully inclusive. We select locations in Bratislava that offer step-free access and wide doorways to accommodate wheelchairs and mobility aids. Our artists are trained to adapt the canvas height and workspace layout so that everyone can reach the surface comfortably. If you have specific accessibility requirements, just let us know in advance so we can tailor the setup perfectly for your group.

How long does a typical special needs workshop last?

We recommend a duration of 1.5 to 2 hours for our special needs groups. This timeframe allows for a relaxed pace with plenty of time for instructions, experimentation, and final touches without causing fatigue. However, we are completely flexible; if your group requires shorter segments with more frequent breaks, our Bratislava team will adjust the schedule to match the energy levels and attention spans of the participants.

What is the ideal group size for this inclusive program?

There is no strict minimum or maximum, but we usually recommend smaller groups of 5 to 12 people per artist. This ensures that every participant in Bratislava receives the individual attention, encouragement, and technical help they might need. For larger organisations or schools, we can simply bring along extra professional artists to maintain a high level of support and safety for everyone involved.

Do we need to pay in advance for the workshop?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is that you don't pay anything upfront! We believe in the quality of our service, so you only pay after the workshop has been successfully completed. After your session in Bratislava, we will send an invoice that can be paid via bank transfer. This takes the stress out of the booking process and ensures you are 100% happy with the experience.

Do participants need prior artistic experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our street art experts in Bratislava specialise in breaking down complex techniques into simple, manageable steps. We focus on the joy of creation rather than technical perfection. Whether someone is picking up a spray can for the first hour or has some artistic background, we ensure they leave feeling proud of what they've created.

The experience

Choosing an inclusive art activity can be tough, but graffiti offers a tactile and visual stimulation that few other mediums can match. Here is why our Bratislava program stands out:

Tailored pacing: We don't rush. We follow the rhythm of the participants to ensure no one feels overwhelmed.
Sensory-rich experience: The sound of the can, the vibrant colours, and the physical movement make it a deeply engaging activity.
Confidence building: Seeing a large-scale piece of art come to life provides an immediate sense of accomplishment.
Safe environment: We use specialised low-pressure cans and non-toxic paints suitable for indoor use.
Expert guidance: Our artists aren't just painters; they are facilitators trained to support diverse learning and physical needs.
No financial risk: With our "pay after the workshop" policy, you can book with total peace of mind.

Local culture

Bratislava has a vibrant and growing street art scene, from the legal walls under the Prístavný most to the artistic corners of the Old Town. Bringing a special needs program to this city means tapping into that local energy. We often draw inspiration from the Danube river's colours or the bold shapes found in Slovak modernism. Our workshops aren't just about painting; they are about participating in Bratislava's living culture. We work with local venues that understand the importance of community inclusion, ensuring that our "Bratislavskí umelci" (Bratislava artists) feel right at home in a city that is increasingly opening its heart and walls to diverse voices.

Pricing

Our special needs workshops are priced competitively to ensure accessibility for community groups and organisations in Slovakia.

Price range: €15 - €35 per person
No deposit: Pay only after the workshop is finished.
Flexible setup: Prices vary based on the number of participants and the specific materials required.
