Is the spray paint safe for participants with sensory sensitivities?

Absolutely! We use high-quality, water-based spray paints for our indoor sessions and low-pressure cans for outdoor work. We also provide full protective gear, including suits, gloves, and masks. Our Nitra instructors are trained to supervise participants closely, ensuring everyone stays safe while they explore their creativity in a controlled and supportive environment. Safety is always our number one concern.

Are the workshops accessible for wheelchair users?

Yes, we believe everyone should have the chance to be an artist. Our workshop locations in Nitra are selected for their accessibility. If we are coming to your specific venue, we will coordinate with you beforehand to ensure the layout works for wheelchairs or those with limited mobility. We can even adjust the height of the canvases so everyone can reach comfortably.

Do we need any prior art experience to participate?

Not at all! Our professional artists guide you through every single step. We start with simple lines and shapes before moving on to filling in colours. The focus in Nitra is on the experience and the joy of creation, not on perfection. Whether you are a total beginner or have a natural flair for art, you will leave feeling like a pro.

How long does a typical workshop last?

A standard special needs session in Nitra usually lasts between 90 minutes and 2 hours. This provides enough time to learn the basics and complete a piece of art without it becoming overstimulating or tiring. However, we are completely flexible! If your group needs a shorter or more relaxed session with more breaks, we can easily customise the schedule for you.

What is the ideal group size for this program?

We recommend a minimum group size of 5 people to get a good atmosphere going, but we can cater to much larger groups as well. For special needs programs, we suggest a higher ratio of instructors to participants to ensure everyone gets the attention they need. Just let us know your group size, and we will tailor the team accordingly.

Can you host the workshop at our own facility in Nitra?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our flexibility. We have several great spots around Nitra where we can host you, but we are also happy to bring the entire setup to your school, care centre, or community hall. As long as there is adequate ventilation or an outdoor space, we can turn almost any location into a vibrant street art studio.

Local culture

Nitra is a city where history meets modern energy. While it’s famous for its stunning cathedral and the legendary Corgoň statue, there is a growing appreciation for contemporary expression in the Zobor foothills. Street art in Slovakia is flourishing, and we love bringing that urban spark to the local community here. Whether we are setting up near the busy Mlyny area or in a quieter community space, the spirit of Nitra always adds something special to our sessions.

Fun Fact: Did you know Nitra is often called the "Mother of Slovak Cities" because of its incredible age? It’s amazing to think that while people have lived here for thousands of years, we are still finding brand-new ways to decorate its story! 🎨
